New Year's kiss!

I woke up feeling 100% better. We never figured out how we got sick. If it was food poisoning, then other people should've gotten sick too, right? Cause we ate with other people all day. Oh well, maybe it was the flu after all. I'm just glad it's over. Ugh. I hate throwing up more than anything.

I started cleaning out my room while packing boxes and packing my suitcase at the same time. Aaaahhhh!!!! I have never been so excited for so many things in my whole life. Gosh how do people not freak out with excitement 24/7 during a time like this! I know I sure do.

I met up with Mason at Target to buy a few things for our cruise. We also went to Michael's cause he reminded me that I hadn't bought a garter yet. I'm glad he reminded me! I would've been sad if we didn't do that tradition.

He went home to do more stuff, then I went tanning and dropped off some more invites at the bank. I went home to pack some more, then I went with my mom and Kirsten to Smith's to buy food and treats for the night! We also went to Red Lobster to pick up some biscuits mmmm. I ran into Sammie there, it was nice to see her and "Grandpa Jim."

Then we went home! Mason was waiting for us, just talking to my dad and nephews. He looked SO DANG GOOD in his new shirt. Gah.

It was a super fun night. We ate yummy food, played games, and best of all, I got the best New Year's kiss of my life! I honestly don't remember the last time I had one or who it was with and I don't care.

And then Mason spent the night on the couch :)

Rejuvenator.

I called in sick for work and I'm glad I did because I threw up one more time. I spent the whole morning in bed and so did Mason. In the early afternoon I started to feel a lot better so I got up and got ready and met Mason at the bank. We got our money together and dropped it off to our renter for our deposit. We also got some smoothies called "The Rejuvenator." They were really yummy.

I really didn't want to miss both my jobs today, and I was feeling a lot better, so I went to CaptionCall. I was just super tired. When I got off, I went to Mason's house to say goodnight. His mom gave me some yogurt and bread and apple juice. I was finally starting to get my appetite back.

I then met my mom and Kirsten and Parker at Michael's. We also went to the dollar store and Ross before going home.

Food poisoning?

I got ready and picked up Mason, then we met up with Des and John and got in there car and drove to Cedar City. The rest of my family went in another car. It was a farewell for two of my cousins. They're brothers and they're leaving for the MTC on the same day!

After the farewell, all the family met at the Marriott for lunch. We had all kinds of soups and rolls and stuff. When we were done, we drove back home with Desi and John.

We went to Mason's house to take a short nap before heading to his sister's house. She and her husband had invited us for dinner. I was still full from lunch and not feeling well, but Mason felt fine. I felt mostly okay most of the time we were there while they were finishing the food, and I even played a song on Todd's guitar. I tried eating but I couldn't eat much. I felt really bad that I wasn't digging into it.

Then, I started to feel really sick. We were getting up to leave, and I hugged Maricel and Todd while trying to remain as calm as possible. No way was I going to ask to throw up in their bathroom right after they fed me dinner. As soon as we got outside, I handed my purse to Mason and said "I have to throw up." He said, "are you serious?" cause apparently I hadn't shown any signs of feeling sick. I walked off their driveway to the edge of the parking lot to some rocks and just let it all out. It was so gross. I have never thrown up so much in my life. And Mason held my hand while I did it. Sweet, but, ew for him haha.

It really sucked. I was so upset. We went back to his house and I cleaned up a little, but I went home as soon as possible. I felt awful. I couldn't figure out if I had the flu or what. But I woke up at 1:00 a.m. to throw up again, texted Mason to tell him, then he called me and told me he was awake because he had just thrown up too! Poor guy. Anyway, it wasn't the best night.

Planners.

I didn't get called in today! I got ready and drove to Costco to take our application to him to give to our renter. Then we went to his house together and had some lunch and took a nap.

We went to Deseret Book together to get some new planners and to finish reading that book I lost - "300 Questions to ask before marriage" or something. We skimmed through it mostly, cause surprisingly, we had talked about almost every question in pretty great detail just on our own. My mom was there working, so we visited with her a while and she helped us find some stuff.

We went back to Mason's and I think we ate some food again and then I went to work. When I got off, Mason came over and we hung out with my family for a bit.

We found it.

Today started out stupid. I wasn't supposed to have to work, but long story short, I did. Money is money though. I got off at 5:00 and then went with Mason to check out an apartment. His coworker contacted him and told him that he had an apartment for rent. We looked at it and it's so nice and perfect and he's giving us a good deal so we decided to move in! Yay!

Pulling me to you.

When Mason got off work today, he came over so we could practice dancing. He came dressed in slacks and dress shoes, and I put on my wedding dress so we could practice how it'll really be. It was so fun! He loves dancing with me and I love dancing with him.

When we were done, we got lunch at Subway. Then we went back to my house and we watched some more 24. It was then time for me to go to work. I tried to leave my house with enough time to stop by Swig, but the line was so long and I didn't think I'd make it to work on time. So, Mason picked up a drink for me and brought it to my work. What a cutie! :)

After my 3 hour shift, I went to his house and he fixed me a taco from their dinner. We talked with his parents and then went upstairs to watch an episode of 24 and to cuddle.

Best Christmas.

Did you know that this was the first time I have ever been with a guy on Christmas day? Ever. It meant so much to me.

Last night, Tasha slept in my room with me. It's a tradition for my sisters and I to sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve. But Desi and Kirsten don't live at home so it was just the two of us. It was super fun though cause we stayed up and played a couple Christmas games on Google. Haha.

Anyway, we got up and started opening presents. Mason came over and brought his dad (his mom was at work). My parents spoiled Mason with gifts. It's so fun to have him with me on days like this! We then ate breakfast together. Egg McMuffins mmmmm!

Mason's dad left and I got ready for the day. Des gave Mason a hair cut. After a few hours, we left so we could go with his dad to visit his grandma who lives alone. She's such a sweet lady. She gave me one of her old cook books.

Then, it was about time for me to go to work. Yep. CaptionCall. But hey, I got paid time and a half and got free Jimmy John's, so it wasn't too bad. Mason had to go to sleep early anyway for a 2:15 shift the next day.

I got off and went home. Then, Kirsten and the boys came and surprised my parents and Tasha! I knew they were coming but no one else did. We were all so happy to see them :) What a perfect Christmas (except that Ben wasn't there, of course, miss him too).

I wish I had taken so many more pictures. Dang it.

Us and Mason's dad.

Christmas Eve.

Today was my day off and it was great! When Mason got off work, I hurried and got ready, then went to his house. We drove together to look at an apartment that we both really like. Yeah... we need to hurry up and decide on a place. We'll probably take that one unless something cheaper/better comes along like... soon.

Anyway, a little later, I left so that Mason could take a much needed nap. I spent the next few hours just hanging out and doing random things.

I drove to Walmart to pick up a few last minute things, then I picked up Mason and we met my family at Beijing Buffet. It was us, my parents, and Tasha, and it was delicious! I love that place so much. I hate that I get full so fast.

Then, Mason and I drove around and looked at lights together. It was so nice. We got hot chocolate. We went back to my place and visited with my family for a bit, and watched a little bit of 24 and then he left.

Busiest work day.

Today was a long day. I was scheduled to work from 8:45-6:15. It was super busy the whole time I was there, and as the end of my shift was approaching, I offered to stay until 7:00 so that my coworker Jordan wouldn't be left alone for almost an hour with craziness going on. Turns out that I probably wouldn't have been able to leave much sooner anyway just because of how crazy it was.

Anyway, I went to Mason's house after and ate some dinner and we cuddled.

Goodwin Christmas Party.

I woke up and Mason cuddled with me. When we went downstairs, his parents were making breakfast. We had the yummiest homemade "Egg McMuffins." Just writing about them makes me want another one! Mmmm.

I left so I could come home and shower and get ready for church. Then, back to Mason's. We drove to the chapel together and had our interviews with the Bishop to get our temple recommends! We had time to kill before church, so we both went to our ATMs to withdraw cash for tithing.

After church, we went back to Mason's house and cuddled until it was time to go to our interviews with the Stake President's Counselor. We now officially have our recommends for my endowment and our sealing :) It's so exciting! Now all we have left to do is find a place to live... haha.

When we were done, we booked it to my aunt's house in Ivin's. We were late for the family Christmas party, but I think we got there at a good time. People were still eating and mingling. Soon after we ate, Santa showed up! That guy has been coming to our Christmas party for over 20 years! And, I've never ever brought a boy with me. So this year was really special :) Mason had a great time. It was so fun.

Mason and I went back to his house so he could go to bed and I could get my car and drive home.

What a perfect, wonderful weekend.

Desolation of Smaug.

Yeah, it was another great day.

I woke up around 8ish and got ready because I was on call from 8:45-10:00. Mason, my family, and I went to the Stake Center where my home ward was having a breakfast. Luckily, I didn't get called in to work. The breakfast was big and delicious and we had a great time.

We went home, and Mason and I read some chapters from the Book of Mormon together. Soon after, we went with my dad and Tasha to the theater to see the second Hobbit movie. It was great! When it was over and we went home, Mason and I were both pretty sleepy so we took a nap up until I had to go to work at CaptionCall at 5:00.

While I was there, I was super hungry and my head started to hurt because I started fasting after breakfast. I went to Mason's house when I got off and I started feeling even more miserable. I was nauseated and it didn't make sense! I was debating on whether to go home, but Mason convinced me to stay. Within a couple minutes I threw up. Gross. But Mason took care of me. We were lying on his couch after, and his mom put a blanket over us as we fell asleep.

I woke up not long after when Mason told me I should text my mom and tell her I was spending the night. So I spent the night! Mason let me sleep in his comfy bed. Even though I threw up, which I hate more than anything, it was a fun day.

The best surprise.

I got ready for work a little earlier than I had to because Mason and I had plans to meet for an early lunch. He got off work at 10:30, then we met at Red Ginger for some sushi! We hugged goodbye and I went to work at 11:45. Mason planned to drive to Salt Lake so that he could be his good friend's escort at the temple Saturday morning. He told me he was going to leave later in the afternoon, and I had hoped he would come say goodbye one more time at the bank.

Sadly, and hour after I got to work, he texted me and told me he was on the road. I have to admit, I was sad that he even went at all. He and I both knew that the weather was bad, that there were snow storms and hundreds of accidents. His mother asked him not to go. I told him I didn't want him to go but that I wouldn't keep him from being there for his friend. But I was sad.

I called him when I got off work and he told me he was almost there. Mason said someone else was calling and told me to hold on for a sec. The call ended, and I just assumed it was my phone being dumb because it has been dropping calls all the stupid time. But when Mason didn't call me quite a few minutes later, I called him.

And it went straight to his voicemail. I called him five times and the same thing. See, I'm paranoid. I figured only two things could've happened: either his phone had died, or he was dead. And Mason always lets me know if his phone is dying, and so I started thinking crazy thoughts and I let it get to me. Seriously, I'm paranoid and crazy.

I was fighting back crazy worried tears as I went to look at a town home for rent. When I left, Mason finally called me back and apologized, saying he had to turn off his phone for some reason. I was so relieved. I stayed on the phone with him as I drove to my house, and he promised he would call me before he went to bed.

I walked inside my house and put down my purse and started talking to my dad. I was in the kitchen when I turned around and saw MASON walk in from around the corner. I screamed - twice I think - and ran and jumped into his arms. I seriously have never been so surprised or happy or relieved or excited. I didn't suspect a thing! I thought I'd have to spend the weekend without him, worrying about his safety.

But instead, I came home to my lover, a dinner he made for us, and a bouquet of red roses. It made me feel SO special and so happy!

We had a great night. We watched The Hobbit (the first one) with my dad. We went to Smith's to return the movie and on the way home we got breakfast burritos at Alberto's. And then Mason spent the night on the couch.

Special clothes & a Marriage license.

This morning, my parents took me to the distribution center inside Deseret Book. My mom measured me and helped me get my garments and temple clothes. I'm so excited!! OH MY GOSH! This isn't real. No way. It was a great experience!

Then, we went to Beijing Buffet for lunch. That sure hit the spot. Yum. I want to eat it again already.

We also went to Star Nursery and Sell it Again Sam. Then, home.

And then I did something really exciting! Mason and I met up when he got off work and got our Marriage License!!! Wow today sure was a great day for marriage preparation.

Oh, we also bought a used bookshelf from someone who posted it on Craigslist. $15 for a pretty good one. We're gonna fix the little fixing it needs, then I'm going to paint it! I am seriously obsessive about furniture these days. I'm so excited about all of it. It's weird.

I then went to CaptionCall for three hours. Then to Mason's. We just talked on our couch, then cuddled on the floor and talked some more. And then he walked me outside, and we got in my car, and talked some more. I love having someone to talk to about absolutely anything. It's such a wonderful freedom.

I came home and watched Jack Frost with my parents, Tasha, Des, and John. It's been quiet this week, and we're all missing Kirsten and Ben and the kids.

Village Inn.

I was supposed to have a shift in Springdale today, but my coordinator called me yesterday and told me it had been canceled and that I was to be on call instead. I was grateful that I didn't have to drive all the way out there. And I didn't get a shift, so it was a relaxing day again for the most part.

Mason got off work at 2:00, then we met at the Village Inn for free pie day. We also ate lunch too (well, Mason ate breakfast food). It was so good.

We went back to his house to cuddle before I had to go to CaptionCall.

Sledding together alone.

When Mason got off work, we met up at his house. We went to lunch at The Habit to use our free burger coupons. It was good! I was really excited about today because Mason got off before noon and then we both had the whole day to spend together, which is pretty rare with school and the three jobs between us. But without school for these next couple weeks, and with Mason being released from his calling... well, it was a nice break.

We got ready and went to Pine Valley in Mason's truck. We took some sleds from my house. When we got up there, the road to the lake was gated shut and so we parked and hiked it to the lake instead.

When we got there, no one else was around at all. We didn't see a single soul the whole time we were in Pine Valley. It was actually really wonderful. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere completely alone and carefree.

We sledded down the hill a few times, walked out on the frozen lake, and had a good time. We weren't there for long, though. We started walking back to the truck when the sun went down. Mason even dragged me on one of the sleds for part of the way just for fun :)

Oh, and then he taught me to drive his truck! See, I've been taught how to drive stick a couple times in my life, but I never continued practicing and so I've never felt comfortable with one. Maybe now I finally will.

When Mason started teaching me, it was seemingly impossibly difficult to get the dang thing even moving. And he was frustrated that he couldn't figure out what he was teaching me wrong. And then he realized... the parking break was on. Hahahaha I was about to give up before that. As soon as he turned off the break, I took off right away. And then I drove from Pine Valley all the way into town. He took over once we got to a stop light, though, cause I'm not comfortable stopping and starting all around town yet.

We got back to Mason's and we watched The Prince of Egypt in his room. He had never seen it. I love that movie and the music. And Mason.

Um. Bear.

A bittersweet parting.

Today was sad. Kirsten and her boys moved today to California to be with Ben. It is so happy though, because they are finally getting on track with the life they want and deserve. They were getting ready to leave as I left for work. I hurriedly said goodbye to Kirsten and Connor, but Parker was still asleep and so I didn't get to say bye to him and that makes my heart hurt. I love them all so much. I was in such a hurry that I didn't say bye to my parents either, who happened to be getting ready to leave for Salt Lake for a few days.

I got to work a full day at the River Road branch today so that was nice. I actually felt really bad about not saying goodbye to my parents so I called my mom and asked if she and my dad would stop by the bank on their way out of town. And they did :)

Mason brought me some candy bars when he got off work. I love seeing him when I'm not expecting to :) I also got to go to his house on my lunch break, where he had food prepared for me. Sweetie.

After I got off, Mason and I went to the dollar store to get white elephant gifts and then went to our ward Christmas party for some food. It was yummy. But then it was time for bed.

Sunday, December 15, 2013

Sweeter resolution.

It was another great experience of waking up to Mason walking in my room. We cuddled a while and then got up to make pancakes.

My family went to church and left us to tend the boys. Connor ate pancakes with us, and then Parker woke up so Mason went downstairs to get him. Soon it was time for me to shower and get ready for church, so Mason watched Home Alone (again haha) with the boys while I got ready. As soon as Kirsten came home, Mason and I rushed to his house so he could get ready for church, too.

We went to our single's ward 10 minutes before it started so we could pass out invitations to people there. Then, we went to leave because we had plans to attend his parents' ward so he could introduce me to the people his parents know. Or, in his words, "show me off."

However, as we were walking toward the truck, Mason commented on how he wondered if it would be easier to make a snowman now than it was last week (when we failed miserably in my backyard and took forever to make a pathetic excuse for a snowman). We looked at each other and he said, "you want to, huh?" Haha so we did. It was super easy and turned out way better. I thought it was funny that we made a snowman on the church grounds. I wrote our names in the snow so everyone would know it was ours :) haha.

So we went to his parents' ward and I met several people whose names I've already forgotten. Well, except one, because he happens to be the temple president and is going to be our sealer! So exciting!

After that, we went to Mason's house and he cooked us some mashed potatoes and chicken cause I was sooo starving.

We had a wonderful conversation. It is amazing how you can get closer and closer to someone with each day and experience.

Then, we went to my house and had more food. Lasagna and garlic bread and corn and salad! So yum. It was Kirsten's and the boys' going away dinner. They leave tomorrow morning for California to join Ben. Kirsten asked me to make my yummy brownies so I did. So much food today.

Mason and I cuddled a little more. Then we all went to the temple grounds to see the lights and the Nativity scene. Then, Mason went home and so did we.

Sweet relief.

I spent a lot of time on my own today. I worked out, got a Swig, went to Target and Ulta, and also to Urban Renewal, went tanning, then came back home. I called Mason and we talked on the phone for about an hour.

I then showered and got ready for work. I took something to my mom at her work on my way, and also took time to stop at McDonald's and get a double cheeseburger... don't judge me! I am still being healthier than I used to, and still losing weight and gaining muscle :) and I'm getting tan so I'm looking better!

I went to CaptionCall. When I got off, I went back to Target to return something cause one of the things I bought was the wrong dang thing. Ugh. Then I picked up my mom from her work and we went home.

Mason came over soon after. We didn't do a whole lot before it was bedtime and once again, he slept on the couch in the front room :) I love tucking him in.

Friday, December 13, 2013

Surface.

After work last night, Mason came over for a bit to hang out.

Today I went to work at the River Road branch again until 7:00. When I got off, I went to the school to attend Melinda's dance recital. It was super good. I had never seen her dance before really, other than in our living room in our apartment. I was super impressed and entertained.

I went to Mason's house for a bit and then went home.

For Rent?

I babysat the boys again this morning. Then I met McKayle and Dallas for lunch at the Pizza Factory. McKayle gave me a really cute bag that she got me as a bridal gift. It was good to see them after so long!

I met up with Mason after, and we drove around town to see if we couldn't find any "For Rent" signs. I was hoping there would maybe be some places that we hadn't already found listed on Craigslist and stuff. No such luck. But it was still fun :)

Now I'm at CaptionCall.

Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Tabernacle.

Before work, I met up with Mason and we went to Camille's for lunch. It was so yummy :)

I worked at River Road again today. I closed with Logan. We were almost done with everything when I looked through the window and saw Mason walking through the drive thru lane toward us. Hehe! I was going to pick him up when I got off, but he surprised me by walking over.

I ran outside and hugged him and then we drove to the Tabernacle together. Tasha was singing with the Madrigals in a Christmas concert. We went and sat by my parents, Kirsten and the boys, Morgan, and my Grandpa.

When it was over, we all went to Dairy Queen for onion rings and ice cream. Mmmmm. Oh but on the way there Mason wanted a donut so we stopped at Smith's and bought a package of them. Hahahaha.

Then I took Mason home. And went tanning on the way home :)

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

Bustle.

I babysat the boys for a bit this morning, and also got some last minute studying in for Humanities final. I went to take it and luckily I was only in there for an hour. It wasn't too bad, I think I did better than the midterm, but I'm still nervous to see what my grade is.

I went to one of Kirsten's friend's house with my mom and my cousin Morgan. We took my dress so she could figure out how to bustle my dress or whatever. Yay now I'll be able to dance in it!

I went tanning and dropped off an invite for my piano teacher at the college and got a drink.

Then I called and met up with Mason. He came with me to pick up my binder that I left in the Washington bank, then we went to Costco to get my tire looked at. Again. Gah.

We walked around for an hour and then we drove to his house and hung out a bit before I had to go home to babysit the kids at 7:00.

Monday, December 9, 2013

Bout Time.

I worked at River Road today. When I got off, I met Mason at the gym. He had already been there a while but then we worked out together a little. He made me go in the sauna and then in the steam room. It might be good for you but dang it's hard to stand that heavy hot air.

We then met a few of his friends to eat at this new place called "Bout Time" for one of their birthdays.

Then Mason took me home. He came inside for a bit to hang with my family and then he left.

Sunday, December 8, 2013

Best snow day ever.

Today was soo awesome. Church was canceled. I'm not saying I don't like going to church, but this was the first day in a LONG time that I was able to wake up and have NOTHING to do all day, and same with Mason. I woke up to him walking in my room and lying down next to me. We cuddled for a while before going and eating scones for breakfast. We then went outside in the backyard to play with my nephews and attempt to build a snowman. Mason and I threw snowballs over the wall at cars as they drove by. Haha. We had a good time.

Then, Mason and I went for a walk around the neighborhood in the snowy streets. We went to the park and played on the swings.

We then went home and watched Home Alone with Des, John, and Tasha. And then we had a delicious dinner with everyone. It was such a wonderful day.

Saturday, December 7, 2013

So much snow.

I worked at the River Road branch today. It was my first time working at the bank on a Saturday and it was awesome. Only the drive thru is open, and there are only two of us, so I got to just sit all day and talk to Annie. It was awesome.

It was cool watching the first part of the snow fall, going from tiny specks into huge snowflakes. Annie was not excited about it haha. It snowed alllll day and then at night too.

After work I went with Mason to look at an apartment for rent. It was so perfect and cute and perfect. I really hope we can live there.

I then went tanning and home for a bit before my next job. I went to CaptionCall for the evening.

That's when the snow started to really fill up the roads. And St. George has no snow plows really. So people were sliding everywhere and I was scared to drive once I got off work. I was supposed to hang out with Melinda since it was her birthday but we canceled because of the bad weather.

Mason picked me up in his truck so I wouldn't have to risk getting stuck or something. He then took me to my house and my mom said he could spend the night on the couch! It was fun. It wasn't long after we got there that we went to sleep, but it was fun tucking him in, knowing he was just down the hall.

Dancing with you.

Holy crap I can't believe I have forgotten to blog for a whole week. (Which I guess looks weird since I always date the posts back a few days so there is one for each day). Gah I hate when I do this because so much has happened and so many things about each day are incredible, but little details are easily forgotten if I don't write them down.

Okay so Friday. I worked at the Washington branch.

Mason came over afterward so we could practice dancing. It was really fun. He didn't stay long because he had to work early Saturday morning. But it was a really good night :)

Smash Burger.

I forgot to mention that last night I stayed up and finished my Humanities paper, and I was so glad I didn't have to worry about it today before it was due. I slept in, lounged around, made some cookies, then went to my last class of the semester.

After, I went to Mason's and he had some lunch for me. When I was done eating, we went to the gym together and had a good workout.

I went to work at CaptionCall for a measly three hours. When I got off, my parents asked me to meet them at a new burger place, The Habit, and to invite Mason. So I picked up Mason and then we found out The Habit doesn't open to the public til tomorrow. We went to Smash Burger instead and it was delicious.

I took Mason home, and I went inside for about 20 minutes. Just enough time to cuddle, read, and pray again. I sure do love the way he kisses me goodnight.

Wednesday, December 4, 2013

This is how every night should end.

This morning I went to sign up for the 24/7 tanning salon. My mom called me and told me she forgot something so I went home and then brought it to her work.

Then I went to Mason's so that we could play in the snow before I went to work. We had about 5-10 minutes to play in the park up the street from his house. It was perfect.

I stopped at Maverik on my way to the bank just around the corner from Mason's house. I got myself a nice 44 oz Dr. Pepper (don't judge) and as I went over a bump, the entire thing spilled all over the passenger's side floor of my car. And all over my Zions peak time binder and my headset from CaptionCall. I hurriedly scooped up the ice and as much soda as I could before I had to run inside to work. I texted Mason about it and how mad I was about it.

And you know what he did? He came to the bank, got my keys, then cleaned the seat and carpet with vinegar and baking soda. What a wonderful sweetheart.

After I got off, I went to Mason's again and we got ready to go to our last Institute class of the semester. It was nice.

And then we cuddled, and read the Book of Mormon, and prayed together.

Still kneeling on the floor, we hugged, and I cried as I often do because I was so happy. It definitely wasn't the first time we'd read the scriptures or prayed together, but he said, "This is how every night should end." I hope that's how our marriage will always be.

Hooded man.

I saw Mason for a few minutes before going to my classes today. After my second class, I got something to eat then went back to the school to get ready for my bio lab final. I finished the 100 question exam in less than 30 minutes.

Mason was meanwhile taking his own exam in the testing center, so I went alone to check out a couple apartments for rent. Afterward, I went to the Holland to start writing my paper. Mason called me as soon as he was done with his test so I started walking back out to my car as I talked on the phone with him so I could meet him somewhere. As I got into my car, someone walked up to the side of my driver door wearing a hood and it scared the crap out of me. Yeah, it was Mason. Geez. Haha.

We went to his place and had some fish sticks and hung out. And then I went home.

Springdale Branch.

So... last night, I was thinking I'd be working at the Washington branch this morning. But it turns out that Washington is branch 39 (I thought it was 38) and branch 38 happens to be... Springdale. So, I had to wake up early and get ready and drive clear to Springdale by 8:45. My mom is an angel and packed me a wonderful lunch. I worked there until 2:30 then headed back to St. George.

I stopped at Mason's house for about 10 minutes before going to CaptionCall. Then after that, I went back to his house for about an hour and we read scriptures together and stuff.

Relaxed.

Today was Mason's first Sunday in nearly a year not being Elder's Quorum President. I have to admit, it was nice having him be able to relax at church. We had some good meetings.

After church, we went to his house and ate some dinner and hung out for a bit. Then, we went to my parents' house and Mason ate some more food while I ate a couple cookies.

We watched most of Atlas Shrugged Pt II and then started the documentary but didn't finish it. My aunt and cousin and his friend came over so we went in the living room and visited with them. They had me get my guitar and play one of my songs for them - one of the love songs I wrote for Mason.

After they left, Mason and I gave each other back rubs. So relaxing and awesome. And then we cuddled and then he went home.

Santa's Workshop.

This morning I went with my parents to our neighbor's son's baptism. After that, we made a return at a store then went to our neighbor's house for lunch. It was fun! I sold three CDs for $10 each :)

I then went with my parents to Santa's Workshop and Tai Pan. I got some cool stuff!!

My parents dropped me off at Mason's. We hung out and made sandwiches and then he drove me to work!

Time Capsule.

I worked 9-5 today at the bank. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be for Black Friday. Aside from one crazy rush, the day was actually pretty slow. I even got to leave fifteen minutes early.

I came home and took a shower and started some laundry and got my set list ready for tonight. I relaxed a bit and then got dressed and left the house.

I got to George's around 7:30, and Mason got there soon after. My parents came within 20 minutes of that. Gordon got me all set up on the mics and stuff even though it took forever, and I started my show. I played for about 45 minutes and got $15 in tips! That's more than I make in an hour at either of my jobs so it was worth the play. (Thanks for the $5 dad haha). I also got a free meal, which I shared half of with my love.

My parents left, then Mason and I sat in my car in the parking lot for over an hour. He was going through the stuff in my time capsule and we were just talking after that. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. When I got home last night, I opened a big can that I sealed 10 years ago. My dad finally found it and I was stoked to open it. It was a Young Women's project I did when I was 12 that I was only allowed to open once I got engaged. Inside were things like my wedding colors I wanted back then, a picture of a wedding dress, a list of qualities I wanted to develop myself, a list of qualities I wanted in a future husband (Mason fits all of them perfectly), and a little card I wrote to my future husband, labeled "To You." Isn't that so cute?! It was fun to go through with him.

We parted ways and I came home and watched the second half of the movie "Enough" playing on TV with Tasha, and now I'm going to bed.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I got on Facebook this morning and saw that one of my friends and her husband are trying to sell their apartment contract, and so I told Mason. He texted them and we went to look at their place a little before noon. It was fun because it was our first time looking at a place together! It didn't even feel weird. But it's nuts.

So, then we went to his house and we got Thanksgiving "dinner" ready. It was just he and I and his parents eating together but it was a great meal. I providing stuffing, the easiest thing ever but my favorite essential Thanksgiving dish.

After eating, Mason and I watched some TV together. Soon, it was time for me to go to work. My three hour shift that I actually left an hour early. I was debating going to wait in line at Target but Mason told me he checked it out and it wasn't worth it. So, instead, I went to his house of course! We watched a finance video introduction together :)

He was going to go to bed early since he has to work at 2 a.m. tomorrow, but then his mission president messaged him and a few others saying that he was in town and wanted them to come visit where he was staying. So, we picked up his friend Josh and the three of us drove to Coral Canyon to visit his mission president and his family and some other missionaries in a nice condo that he developed.

"That tree was planted by your Love."

Another long and productive day so far!

I worked 8:45-5:10 and then I rushed home to change and eat something. I then drove to CaptionCall a little early cause Mason wanted to meet me in the parking lot like he does sometimes. It was our only chance to see each other today, and I think it's been almost three months that we've seen each other every single day. :)
So he was waiting on his motorcycle. We took it for a ride up on the old airport hill so he could show me some trees he planted for his Eagle Scout project and stuff. It was so good to see him.

Now I'm working here from 6-9. After this I'll probably go home and eat a lot and write some songs and workout and read and go to sleep.

:)

Autumn leaves.

Today rocked. I love long days. See? Getting up early with something to do is so much better than sleeping in and laying in bed til noon. As much as I love sleep and hate getting up early, I always feel better about my day when I do get up early and get going.

I woke up at 5:00 because I added a shift at CaptionCall this week for 6-noon. It went by pretty fast. I got gas at Smith's and then went to the Hope Chest. The last Tuesday of every month, (almost) everything is 50% off the already super low prices. My mom and I used to go on that Tuesday every month but I have forgotten and missed it for the past six months or so! But today I finally went! And I actually found some pretty good stuff for my future home :) pretty things.

On my way to my first class, I stopped at my dad's office and said hi for just a couple minutes. As I was leaving, Desi and John pulled up so I got to see them too.

Both of my classes were kind of boring today but it's okay. No lab!

So, I got done at 3:45 and I went to Mason's. We then drove to the middle of town and got out to walk around downtown St. George. We walked around a couple blocks near Main Street through the neighborhoods. I wanted to do it before Autumn is over and the leaves are gone. And it was beautiful and perfect. I should've taken pictures. Oh well.

We then went to Chuck-a-Rama for dinner. It was soo good and I got sooo full. Man, I better fit in my wedding dress a month from now... YEAH WE'RE ALMOST DOWN TO A MONTH PEOPLE. 38 DAYS.

After dinner, Mason asked if I wanted to go shopping anywhere. How nice of him to ask because I needed to go to Ulta to use my coupon and get some stuff before the 30th. So, he went with me to the beauty store and I picked up some things.

We went back to his house and cuddled a bit before it was time for me to leave. Goodnight Mason.

Drive thru.

There are pros and cons to sleeping in (duh). For me, if I have nowhere to be in the morning, I absolutely love that I get to lay in my bed as long as I want. But... I also don't like it because it makes me feel lazy. I know there are things I COULD be doing, like reading a book or cleaning my room or making things, but it's hard when I know I can just lay there and get away with it.

So obviously, today was one of many days when I didn't really do anything all morning.

I didn't work until 1:45. I worked at the Zions on River Road until 7:15. It was my first time ever closing at the bank, and also my first time working at one of the drive thru computers. I mean, I've helped drive thru customers tons of times but I'm always stationed at the lobby computers. It was a nice change. Working after the lobby closes is great because you can actually sit down, and you can talk about whatever you want with your coworker. The girl I closed with is Annie and I like her a lot. She's super cool and nice to me even though I did a lot of ditzy things today. Haha...

and then I went straight to babe's house to help him with his school stuff. Yes I actually help... kinda.

I left after a couple hours and came home.

Sunday, November 24, 2013

Released.

After work last night, I came home and Mason was waiting for me in front of my house. We went inside and watched Red Dawn together. It's a really good movie. And I had a really great day and night.

Today was Mason's last day as Elder's Quorum President. He was sad but he started to feel relieved. And I'm way excited cause now I get even more of his time! Woohoo! Well, a little bit. It'll be nice for him to have this break before we get married. Less than six weeks now!!

After church we went to his house and had a snack. Then, we started studying together for a couple of his economics quizzes. His parents came home and we all had dinner together. Then Mason and I relaxed for a bit before doing the second quiz.

Mason gave me a short but wonderful massage and then I came home!

My bridal shower!!

Today was sooooo fun. My mom's friends and our family and Mason's sister and my friends all came to my house to celebrate. Kelsey even came all the way from Orem with Tyler, Milo, and Winter (the dog). I'm really glad she and Melinda were there. It was a way fun shower and I got so many great presents! I'm a spoiled girl.

Eeeeeee I'm getting married in six weeks! I can't freakin wait.

When Kelsey and Tyler got to my house, Mason came over soon after (the bridal shower was ending kinda) and he took Tyler to go play basketball at the rec center. Cute huh. Our husbands (well, my future husband and her husband) are friends! Yay! And oh my gosh Milo is so cute. And Winter looked like a llama from where I could see her in the car. Hahaha.

People were almost all gone when Mason and Tyler came back. Kelsey and Tyler left to go to Kanab. Mason and I cuddled for a few minutes before he left to go see Catching Fire. Without me. Rude.

And now I'm at work. Yaaaaaaay.

Free salad.

Today I worked at the Zions on the Boulevard, the main branch. It wasn't so bad actually. I was working with a couple people who I know from my parents' neighborhood and stuff.

When I got off, I went home and changed and Mason came over shortly after to pick me up. We ate some pizza real quick with my family and then went to a wedding. It was funny because we thought we were just showing up in the middle of a reception, but we were actually an hour late to the actual ceremony. Except we weren't really late because the bride was an hour late and everyone was still waiting. I'm glad we didn't get there on time!

We drove back to my place so I could get ready for my show, when I got a message from Ryan asking where I was. I thought the show was at 9. It was at 8. Oops. So I raced to Jazzy's with Mason close behind me and got there at about 8:20. I played five songs, Mason left, then I watched Lyndy and Steve play their set by myself. I finally got my free salad, and also a free smoothie! It was awesome.

Mascara.

Today I had class and then I went home to eat and put on mascara because I freaking forgot to this morning. Sheesh. The last time I forgot to put on mascara was like 8th grade or something.

On my way to work, I ran to Smith's and picked up a Target giftcard.

After work, I went home. And then around 8:15 I went to Mason's so we could go to our friends' house at 8:30 and deliver the gift card. They just got married last week.

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

Just that.

I worked at Zions on River Road today. I went out to my car and Mason was waiting for me in his truck :)

We went to his house together and I got a snack and then we went to institute. Afterward, we talked a while and then I went home.

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

Welp.

Today was my classes day, like always.

In between sociology and biology, I went to Mason's and studied and ate some dinner with him.

Biology wasn't very long, I just went home after.

Monday, November 18, 2013

Hurricane.

I am just getting worse and worse at doing this dang blog.

I worked in Hurricane today. It wasn't so bad. I got Subway and Swig on my lunch break.

After I got back into town, Mason and I went to the gym together and worked out our legs.

And that's like, all.

Sunday, November 17, 2013

Ups.

After church today, I went home and Mason went home to change before coming over. We helped finish dinner and then we all sat down to eat. It was roast beef and mashed potatoes and broccoli and biscuits.

Then, we restarted Pacific Rim and watched it with Kirsten, Tasha, and the kids.

And in between all that and everything, it was a great day.

Funny happenings.

Our pictures yesterday turned out great. I'm so excited! After we were done, we went to Red Lobster. Yum.

And after that, we went to Rylee's and Tyler's wedding reception. It was funny cause I forgot to bring the invitation with the address, but I remember it saying "Staheli barn" and so I thought it would be at the Staheli farms. Mason and I got there, got out and started walking toward the barn, and we could hear music and people. Then we looked inside and realized it was definitely not our friends' wedding. It was a Mexican fiesta. Hahahahaha. We started walking back to our car when we ran into a girl and found that she was making the same mistake as us. So, she called a friend and we figured out the "Staheli barn" was on Telegraph. Hahaha. The wedding reception was nice though, and we got pie!

Today was nice. I didn't get called in but it's okay because that meant I got to go and perform my call back audition for Dixie's Got Talent. I sang a song that I finished writing this morning. And actually it's not even finished yet still, but I made it to be two minutes because that was my time limit for the audition. I'll finish it though :) It's a love song for Mason of course.

After my audition, I stopped at Mason's for about an hour to visit, then I went back home.

I worked tonight. Then I went back to Mason's and we started watching Pacific Rim but we didn't finish it.

Friday, November 15, 2013

Redo.

Okay so this morning I was stressing. I was on call and even though I didn't get a shift at the bank on Wednesday, I really really didn't want to get called in today so that Mason and I can retake our pictures this afternoon. My wish came true and I didn't get called in! Woohoo! Pictures! That means sending out announcements soonish.

Mason called me after he got off work and I met him at the school about a half hour before his class so we could sit and talk and just be together. It was nice. Today, like yesterday, is a really beautiful day and it feels great outside. I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

I came home and cleaned my room and did some other stuff and now I'm sort of trying to write a new song. It hasn't been quite as easy these days to write new songs but I guess I could put more time into it. It's hard to write a song that isn't too similar to a song I've already written. Seriously!

So yeah. The rest of the day should be awesome.

Thursday, November 14, 2013

Perk's.

I woke up super early this morning because I decided I wanted to take a breakfast burrito to Mason on his break at work. I got to sit with him for a little over 10 minutes in my car while he ate and of course it was good to see him. He's so cute. Gosh.

I came home and did some homework, then went back to sleep for a bit.

I got back up and got ready for my class.

After my class was super fun. I met Mason in the Smith's parking lot and we played around in the leaves on the grassy hill by the street. Then we drove around and got smoothies at Perk's. Soon I had to go to work.

After work I went to my old place to visit Melinda and Emily. It was really good to see them and catch up a little. Melinda went to dance so I waited for Mason to get done with his home teaching visits. Then we spent a little time together before the night was over.

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Workout buddies.

So, I didn't get called in today but that's okay. I tried painting my clocks some more but it's not working out for me too well. I need to try something else.

Mason and I went to the gym together for the first time! I hate going to new gyms at first. It just takes me a couple times to get used to it and feel comfortable. Plus this gym has way more dudes than my old gym. I feel like they're always staring at me even though they're probably not. Anyway, it was fun being there together.

We then went straight to our institute class. And after that, we hung out for just a bit longer.

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

Switching gyms.

Today was career day so my first class was canceled. So I went to Sociology, then I went to Alex's house to pick up my blanket that I left in his car months ago.

Then I went to Gold's Gym. Mason was working out with his friend Zack. I signed up for a new membership :) Mason and I can be workout buddies now!

I then went to my bio lab. And then went home. Mason was in his presidency meeting but as soon as it was over, he came to my house and we played more Mario.

Monday, November 11, 2013

Walk.

Since it was a holiday, I wasn't on call today.

When Mason got out of school, we met up at Target to finish our wedding registry and then I had to go to work. Afterward, I went to his house and we went on a walk and stuff.

Sunday, November 10, 2013

Back row.

So we didn't end up going to the Gish house last night, but we did have fun together and watch a movie.

It was Stake Conference today. Mason was saving us a seat up front on the soft seats. He left to get a drink, leaving his scriptures in his spot, and when he got back someone was sitting in his spot. Rude. So, we decided to sit on the very very back row of the room. Which means we sort of kind of got to cuddle a little bit and that was nice.

After church, I went to Mason's and we had lunch with his parents. We also took a short nap. When we woke up, I went home so Mason could do some stuff and I could too.

A little later, I went back over for dinner. Then, we both came back to my house to play Mario.

Saturday, November 9, 2013

Pot Holes.

I forgot to write what Mason said last night while we were in his truck. It's so silly but so sweet. He told me that he had heard somewhere that when women are pregnant, driving over pot holes is super irritating to them. And so he is already trying to get into the habit of avoiding them for me. Because one day I will be pregnant. Yeah, he is being thoughtful and forming a habit that is going to benefit me years from now. I'm so in love.

Anyway. Today I have been so lazy. I was on call but I didn't get a shift. I got some drinks from Fabulous Freddy's for Kirst and I, because they were only 50 cents today. I also went and got my hair trimmed by Desi at her work. On my way home, I stopped and got two more drinks for my dad and Kirsten's friend Rayni.

I'm working at CaptionCall right now. I really am starting to dislike this job more and more. Ugh.

But tonight will be fun. Mason and I are joining Beau and all his friends at the Gish's house for games like I've done before. Mason hasn't been yet though.

Friday, November 8, 2013

Institute Dance.

I got another shift today, this time at the branch on River Road. I left my house with just enough time to get there, and right after I left, Mason called me cause he had just gotten off work. He was on his way home and met me at the bank to give me a kiss and walk me to the door :) it was the best. The shift went by okay.

When I got off, I went to my old place to pay my roommate for the last utility bill that came after I moved out. Then, I went to see Mason even though I was going to see him in a couple hours when he came to pick me up. It just didn't make sense not to, since I was already on his street!

I went home and got ready in my dress and then he picked me up a bit later. We went to the institute building for the dinner/dance. They served us pizza, pasta, bread, and salad from Brick Oven plus some pie. Then after a while, we got on the dance floor! I love dancing with Mason so much.

He took me home and came inside the house to tell my parents hello, then left.

Turning Page.

Even though I only got to see Mason for five minutes today, it was a really good day.

I went to the gym, and again, Mason stopped by on his way from work. I spent five minutes hugging and kissing and talking to him before he had to go to class and I continued my work out.

I went home and got ready for class. After class, I met my mom at Michael's for a bit and then headed home to relax before going to work.

My three hour shift was uneventful.

I stopped at Red Ginger on my way home to pick up food that Kirsten had ordered for us to share. I took it home and we ate it. Sweet and sour chicken. Mmmm.

I then spent the next hour on a conference call with my fellow Zions Bank peak time employees.

Mason called me toward the end of the call, so as soon as it ended, I called him right back. We talked for the next 45 minutes and it was easily the best part of my day. I cannot explain my appreciation for him in my life. I just can't. Oh how I wish I had a recording of everything he's ever said to me.

Anyway, one of the many things we talked about was pride and how it is the reason for almost every contention in the world. He suggested I read a couple LDS conference talks, and I wanted to share them because I really liked them.

http://www.lds.org/ensign/1989/05/beware-of-pride

http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2010/10/pride-and-the-priesthood

I hope you'll read them.

Another thing, I'm really loving this song lately. I found it on a playlist on Spotify and saw that it is from one of the Twilight movies. I don't remember hearing it in any of them but I really really love it.

I've waited a hundred years
But I'd wait a million more for you
Nothing prepared me for what the privilege of being yours would do
If I had only felt the warmth within your touch
If I had only seen how you smile when you blush
Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough
I would have known what I was living for
What I've been living for

Your love is my turning page
Only the sweetest words remain
Every kiss is a cursive line
Every touch is a redefining phrase
I surrender who I've been for who you are
Nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart
If I had only felt how it feels to be yours
I would have known what I've been living for all along
What I've been living for

We're tethered to the story we must tell
When I saw you well I knew we'd tell it well
With the whisper we will tame the vicious scenes
Like a feather bringing kingdoms to their knees

Portable piano!

I was on call today for the bank and I got a shift! Woohoo! I was relieved to find out it was at the Washington branch, which Ben (my brother-in-law and former peak time teller) told me was one of the good ones to work at. All the tellers I worked with were girls around my age and they were super nice and fun to talk to.

On my way to work, I realized I was just up the street from Costco and I had just a couple extra minutes so I hurried inside and luckily found Mason near the front of the store. He was excited to see me and knew I was in a hurry but he wanted to show me something so we ran to the middle of the store. The piano we had been looking at a few weeks ago was $100 cheaper! So, he bought it for us! I'm so so so excited about it. Eeeee. Anyway, I was with him for less than 4 minutes and I rushed to work.

After work, I came home and relaxed. Mason and I had our institute class together and it was really good. I then drove him home (because he had been dropped off so his dad could drive his truck home) and stayed for about an hour just talking. Oh my gosh I love Mason so much. (mom, tell Kirsten ;) )

It was a really good day.

Tuesday, November 5, 2013

Keys.

I went to the gym this morning and not long after I got there, Mason called me, just getting off work. He swung by the gym on his way home to say hi so I got to see him for a few minutes. I really need to switch to his gym so we can just work out together. I will... eventually. Anyway. The gym was good.

I then went home and got ready for class. After my first two classes, I went to help Mason do some stuff for church but it ended up taking quite a while to get the right keys to get into the chapel and so I didn't have much time to help him before I had to go to my biology lab. It was fun driving all over town with him though!

My lab was short and sweet and easy. I came home and ate dinner and relaxed.

Monday, November 4, 2013

Wedding Registry.

Today was my first day "on call" as a teller. I didn't get a shift, but I did have a shift at CaptionCall (and I also get paid for two hours of on call for the bank) so it was fine. Since I didn't have to work until late afternoon, I took a short nap and then went into town with my mom, Kirsten, and the boys. They're a handful but I still do enjoy doing things with my family.

Before I went to work, I met up with Mason after his class so we could go to the mall real quick. Then I went to work for four hours.

After work, I picked up Mason and we went to Target to register for wedding gifts! Yep, it was just as fun as I hoped it would be! It's so fun to have a guy who is so into the whole wedding thing. He loves it all.

Our first photo booth experience together. Ha.
Aw Connor.

Mario Brothers.

This was just the best Sunday!

Church was really great. And as soon as it was over, I went home and waited for Mason to drop off his friend and then he came over too. We helped finish making dinner and then ate Hawaiian haystacks. Yum.

After dinner, Kirsten let Mason and I borrow her tv and Wii so we could play Mario Brothers! It was so much fun. Mason and I had never played any kind of video games together but we really got into it and made a great team :)

My favorite part about the evening was that I wasn't worried about what time Mason had to go home. Usually he has somewhere to be early in the morning and so I'm always stressing about what time it is and how much time I have left with him. But tonight was great because I got to just relax and be with him the whoooole day. I'm spoiled.

Saturday, November 2, 2013

Painting.

Today has been lazy of course. I just can't make myself get up early on Saturdays.

I went to Michael's and bought some paint and stuff, and briefly visited my mom at her work.

Then I went back home and started painting some stuff for my wedding. I'm so excited!

I came to work at 5:00 and halfway through my shift, Mason texted me and told me to take my break because he was nearby.

He met me on the big staircase (right where we took our pictures hehe) and he stayed for a few minutes. It was really nice to see him, just like every day. When I get off, he's coming over and we're going to watch a movie!

Done training.

Last day of training. Target, Mall, Walmart, Wendy's, Mason's. Guitar.

Today was my last day training at Zions. I have my first official schedule for next week and I'm nervous to go to the other branches. I'll feel like I'm starting all over again getting used to new buildings and people. Ah!

After my day at work, I went home and ate dinner. Then I went to Target with my mom and Kirsten for a bit. I left and went to the mall and to Walmart to get some stuff done.

Mason slept most of the day since he got less than 3 hours of sleep last night. They made him go into work at 2:15 this morning. Poor guy. So, when he woke up he had to finish an assignment.

When he was done later at night, I went to his house and he was outside talking to someone on the phone. I paced around with him until they hung up and then we stayed sitting outside just talking. It was really nice. Have I mentioned that I love our conversations?

We also practied dancing, just a little bit. We really need to get on that...

His parents had never heard me play my guitar or sing before, so I took my guitar inside and they sat down and listened to me sing Mason's song for him. Then I went home :)

Halloween.

Went to class, then to visit the bank, got work off, hung out and helped cook and stuff, Mason came over with a mask and sword, drove to Ivin's, came home and fell asleep.

I had one class today. I went to the bank to visit my coworkers (they wanted me to go see their costumes) then I went home, and CaptionCall called me and asked if I wanted my shift off. It was only 3 hours so I said yes and decided to spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting ready for Halloween fun.

I helped my mom make some food (kinda) and just hung out. Mason came over later and we left to meet up with some friends. They watched Signs projected on a big screen in the park in Ivin's.

It was freezing so we didn't stay the whole time.

Thriller.

I worked all day at Zions today, then I met Mason at the institute for our marriage class.

We left early so that we could go to his house, pick up his dad and a blanket and stuff, and then we drove to Tuachan to see Thriller. I had never seen it before and I really enjoyed it. As we were walking in, one of the zombies came up behind me and grabbed me and I screamed. She kept following me and eventually was like, "Do you know who I am?" Yeah, I had to stare for a few seconds before I realized it was my old roommate Emily! Holy cow! Haha.

Then we... went home.

Stir Fry.

After my second class today, I went to take my Sociology test. After that, I ran to Mason's house to say hi just for a few minutes before going to my Biology lab. That ended a lot earlier than I thought it would, and so Mason's mom invited me to come eat dinner. We had stir fry.

I stayed a while and then went home.

Fractured Prune.

Work was pretty good today. I am getting the hang of it I think! I've got most of the simpler transactions down, but I still have to ask a lot of questions. I like my job.

After work, I went to the gym. I really need to work out more so I can look my best for the wedding and then continue to be as healthy as I can!

I came home to shower and eat dinner, then Mason came over. Kirsten brought out her laptop so we could start going through the 1,083 photos she took yesterday and pick our favorites. We took a break and went to the Fractured Prune with Kirsten, Ben, and my dad. It's a donut shop... weird name, I know. It was also weird because it is in the place where Quizno's used to be, where I used to work for 2 + years over 4 years ago! Mason is convinced he remembers me making him a sandwich back then. Who knows.

We came back and finished going through the pictures. We had a good conversation and cuddle time before he left :)

Bridal Shoot.

I'd been looking forward to today like crazy for the last few days! I just couldn't wait to show Mason my wedding dress, so I'm glad he decided he wanted to be in my bridal photos.

I went to Sacrament with him but I left right away so I could start getting my hair and makeup done by Shaliese Tibbs. Mason, his sister Maricel, Kirsten, and Ben were all waiting when my mom drove me over to the building. I walked down the grand staircase with Mason standing at the bottom, his back to me. Kirsten took a million pictures as he turned around and opened his eyes. It was so fun!

We took some more pictures, then headed to the temple grounds. We didn't think there would be many people around since it was a Sunday, and the temple isn't open. But some activity was going on and there were hundreds of people! There were several groups of 30-ish younger people scattered all over. Everyone was staring at us. I'm not going to lie, I loved feeling like a princess. Can't wait for my wedding day! And Mason looked so great, my handsome prince.

After the shoot, we said goodnight, then my mom took me home.

Doctor Mason.

Today was another fun day! Around noon, I went to the college and auditioned for Dixie's Got Talent. I didn't mess up or anything but I really wish I had been more prepared. We'll see if I even make call backs!

I went to the mall and bought Mason's wedding ring (for pictures tomorrow). Then I picked him up and we went together to pick up his tux, my dress, and a nice crocheted blanket that his Aunt made for us to snuggle under :)

We went to Mason's house and cuddled. Then I had to hurry home to hang up my wedding dress and then go to work.

After work, Mason came over so Des could cut his hair. We then started watching Zoolander but didn't get very far when we left so we could get to the college for True Rebel night. I put on some slip on flats so it would be easy to take them off to get in the fountain, not knowing we would be making our way into the middle of the dance that was still going on outside. People were stepping all over my feet of course. Mason and I decided after less than five minutes to take our jackets to his truck since it was so hot. We were going to go back to the dance floor but I looked at my foot and my toe was bleeding.

So, Mason drove me to his house (just around the corner) and cleaned up my foot and disinfected it for me. He's so great. I know he really wanted to go dance for just a bit longer but he didn't even hesitate to take care of me first.

We drove back to the college and made it in time to get in the fountain and kiss at midnight with dozens of other people. It was perfect :)

There was also a huge hole in the side of my shoe...
like someone must've stepped on me with a stiletto.
Hehe cutie.
Love.

Hicken Wedding.

Today I was driving home for my lunch break when I noticed a funny sound coming from my car, which made me nervous cause I just barely got it fixed on Monday/Tuesday. My dad took one look at it when he got there and saw that both of my right side tires were completely flat. I'm an idiot. Anyway, I was irritated because I got all four brand new tires last Saturday. My dad inflated them for me and I didn't drive much the rest of the day.

After I got off work, I called Mason and was talking to him about my day and telling him to wait for me to change and then I would come pick him up. To my surprise, he was sitting on top of his truck in front of my house as I pulled up, still talking on the phone. It sounds so silly but it really made my day. It felt kinda like a movie. I just love that he surprises me in little ways like that. I got out of my car and ran to hug him and started crying because I was just so happy to see him. Partly because of a mildly bad day, and partly because I'm emotional anyway.

So. I changed and then we went to Red Ginger so I could fulfill my sushi craving, and attempt to convert Mason a little. He really enjoyed it!

We then went to Brent's and Brittany's wedding reception, which happened to be at the same place we're going to have ours. And we also happened to match it. It was really fun. They called all the "couples in love" to the dance floor a few times, and it was our first time really dancing together. I loved it so so much.

After that we went back to my house and watched The House at the End of the Street with my parents and sister. It was fun because we were all so scared and kept screaming! We actually really freaked out Kirsten who could hear us from downstairs; she thought there was an intruder or something for a minute haha. Good times.

Rubik's Cube.

After class today I went to Mason's house and he started teaching me how to solve a Rubik's cube and gave me some pizza so I wouldn't be hungry at work. He is so great. I wish I knew how to explain why he's so great.

Work is annoying today cause every call I get is someone who is talking and not listening. People just don't shut up! And they have either nasally, scratchy, or drawly voices, and they are not very happy people. Ugh the world. No one wants to hear about the trouble you had when you went to the store or every single little detail about what your doctor told you about your medication! Ugh. Sorry I just get irritated with people I don't know.

My phone is being dumb and not sending pictures to my email and so I will add pictures to the past few days of posts when I get home from work.

Teller.

Today at Zions was my first day helping customers on my own with my own drawer to work from. It was kind of stressful but I actually enjoyed it for the most part. Probably because it was a slow day. I don't know how I will feel on super busy days when I don't know the answer to someone's question.

I was supposed to get off at 5:00 with plenty of time to get to CaptionCall by 6:00, but balancing my drawer and stuff took so long and I didn't get off til almost 5:30. I rushed home to change, then rushed to CaptionCall because Mason wanted to meet me in the parking lot before I went in. I got to spend about 15-20 minutes talking to him and hugging him :)

After work, I was on my way to my old place to pick something up when Mason called me. He had just finished home teaching, and was walking home when I pulled onto his - my old - street. So, I parked in front of his house and then he walked me to my old apartment and back. We stayed outside for a while before I went home.

Back in place.

I still didn't have my car, and so Des drove me to school. As soon as we left our neighborhood, I realized I hadn't put my ring back on after my shower. I felt so naked!

After my first class, Mason picked me up on his motorcycle, lookin dang good, and drove me to my next class. I walked in the building and saw that it was empty and dark, and remembered that class was canceled due to it being exam week. Dumb. Luckily, I rushed back outside right before Mason drove off, but I startled him haha.

He took me back to his place and we were going to study together until it was time for me to go to Biology. However, my dad texted me not long after we got there and said my car was done. So, Mason drove me in his truck to my dad's office, and then my dad took me to my car and I went home, got my ring and put it back on my finger, then got ready for Biology.

After class, I went to my old apartment to get a package that came for me from Zions. Then, I went to Mason's to talk a little and say goodnight.

Stupid stomach.

I met my dad at a car place so I could drop off my car and he could take me to work. I didn't feel well but I decided to go in anyway. After about half an hour, my coworkers and I decided it would be best for me to go home and rest rather than risk everyone else getting sick, too, including clients. I felt bad about it and I knew I would feel better in just a couple hours but staying there would've been miserable.

So I went home to rest for a bit and as soon as Mason got ouf of class, he picked me up and we went to the tux shop to get his tux for our photo shoot and for our wedding day  :) eeeeee. He is SO HANDSOME.

We got some ice cream from Baskin Robbins and it was pretty good. Then we went home to nap, and then he brought me here to work. I hate not having my car ugh.
