Halloween.

Went to class, then to visit the bank, got work off, hung out and helped cook and stuff, Mason came over with a mask and sword, drove to Ivin's, came home and fell asleep.

I had one class today. I went to the bank to visit my coworkers (they wanted me to go see their costumes) then I went home, and CaptionCall called me and asked if I wanted my shift off. It was only 3 hours so I said yes and decided to spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting ready for Halloween fun.

I helped my mom make some food (kinda) and just hung out. Mason came over later and we left to meet up with some friends. They watched Signs projected on a big screen in the park in Ivin's.

It was freezing so we didn't stay the whole time.

Thriller.

I worked all day at Zions today, then I met Mason at the institute for our marriage class.

We left early so that we could go to his house, pick up his dad and a blanket and stuff, and then we drove to Tuachan to see Thriller. I had never seen it before and I really enjoyed it. As we were walking in, one of the zombies came up behind me and grabbed me and I screamed. She kept following me and eventually was like, "Do you know who I am?" Yeah, I had to stare for a few seconds before I realized it was my old roommate Emily! Holy cow! Haha.

Then we... went home.

Stir Fry.

After my second class today, I went to take my Sociology test. After that, I ran to Mason's house to say hi just for a few minutes before going to my Biology lab. That ended a lot earlier than I thought it would, and so Mason's mom invited me to come eat dinner. We had stir fry.

I stayed a while and then went home.

Fractured Prune.

Work was pretty good today. I am getting the hang of it I think! I've got most of the simpler transactions down, but I still have to ask a lot of questions. I like my job.

After work, I went to the gym. I really need to work out more so I can look my best for the wedding and then continue to be as healthy as I can!

I came home to shower and eat dinner, then Mason came over. Kirsten brought out her laptop so we could start going through the 1,083 photos she took yesterday and pick our favorites. We took a break and went to the Fractured Prune with Kirsten, Ben, and my dad. It's a donut shop... weird name, I know. It was also weird because it is in the place where Quizno's used to be, where I used to work for 2 + years over 4 years ago! Mason is convinced he remembers me making him a sandwich back then. Who knows.

We came back and finished going through the pictures. We had a good conversation and cuddle time before he left :)

Bridal Shoot.

I'd been looking forward to today like crazy for the last few days! I just couldn't wait to show Mason my wedding dress, so I'm glad he decided he wanted to be in my bridal photos.

I went to Sacrament with him but I left right away so I could start getting my hair and makeup done by Shaliese Tibbs. Mason, his sister Maricel, Kirsten, and Ben were all waiting when my mom drove me over to the building. I walked down the grand staircase with Mason standing at the bottom, his back to me. Kirsten took a million pictures as he turned around and opened his eyes. It was so fun!

We took some more pictures, then headed to the temple grounds. We didn't think there would be many people around since it was a Sunday, and the temple isn't open. But some activity was going on and there were hundreds of people! There were several groups of 30-ish younger people scattered all over. Everyone was staring at us. I'm not going to lie, I loved feeling like a princess. Can't wait for my wedding day! And Mason looked so great, my handsome prince.

After the shoot, we said goodnight, then my mom took me home.

Doctor Mason.

Today was another fun day! Around noon, I went to the college and auditioned for Dixie's Got Talent. I didn't mess up or anything but I really wish I had been more prepared. We'll see if I even make call backs!

I went to the mall and bought Mason's wedding ring (for pictures tomorrow). Then I picked him up and we went together to pick up his tux, my dress, and a nice crocheted blanket that his Aunt made for us to snuggle under :)

We went to Mason's house and cuddled. Then I had to hurry home to hang up my wedding dress and then go to work.

After work, Mason came over so Des could cut his hair. We then started watching Zoolander but didn't get very far when we left so we could get to the college for True Rebel night. I put on some slip on flats so it would be easy to take them off to get in the fountain, not knowing we would be making our way into the middle of the dance that was still going on outside. People were stepping all over my feet of course. Mason and I decided after less than five minutes to take our jackets to his truck since it was so hot. We were going to go back to the dance floor but I looked at my foot and my toe was bleeding.

So, Mason drove me to his house (just around the corner) and cleaned up my foot and disinfected it for me. He's so great. I know he really wanted to go dance for just a bit longer but he didn't even hesitate to take care of me first.

We drove back to the college and made it in time to get in the fountain and kiss at midnight with dozens of other people. It was perfect :)

There was also a huge hole in the side of my shoe...
like someone must've stepped on me with a stiletto.
Hehe cutie.
Love.

Hicken Wedding.

Today I was driving home for my lunch break when I noticed a funny sound coming from my car, which made me nervous cause I just barely got it fixed on Monday/Tuesday. My dad took one look at it when he got there and saw that both of my right side tires were completely flat. I'm an idiot. Anyway, I was irritated because I got all four brand new tires last Saturday. My dad inflated them for me and I didn't drive much the rest of the day.

After I got off work, I called Mason and was talking to him about my day and telling him to wait for me to change and then I would come pick him up. To my surprise, he was sitting on top of his truck in front of my house as I pulled up, still talking on the phone. It sounds so silly but it really made my day. It felt kinda like a movie. I just love that he surprises me in little ways like that. I got out of my car and ran to hug him and started crying because I was just so happy to see him. Partly because of a mildly bad day, and partly because I'm emotional anyway.

So. I changed and then we went to Red Ginger so I could fulfill my sushi craving, and attempt to convert Mason a little. He really enjoyed it!

We then went to Brent's and Brittany's wedding reception, which happened to be at the same place we're going to have ours. And we also happened to match it. It was really fun. They called all the "couples in love" to the dance floor a few times, and it was our first time really dancing together. I loved it so so much.

After that we went back to my house and watched The House at the End of the Street with my parents and sister. It was fun because we were all so scared and kept screaming! We actually really freaked out Kirsten who could hear us from downstairs; she thought there was an intruder or something for a minute haha. Good times.

Rubik's Cube.

After class today I went to Mason's house and he started teaching me how to solve a Rubik's cube and gave me some pizza so I wouldn't be hungry at work. He is so great. I wish I knew how to explain why he's so great.

Work is annoying today cause every call I get is someone who is talking and not listening. People just don't shut up! And they have either nasally, scratchy, or drawly voices, and they are not very happy people. Ugh the world. No one wants to hear about the trouble you had when you went to the store or every single little detail about what your doctor told you about your medication! Ugh. Sorry I just get irritated with people I don't know.

My phone is being dumb and not sending pictures to my email and so I will add pictures to the past few days of posts when I get home from work.

Teller.

Today at Zions was my first day helping customers on my own with my own drawer to work from. It was kind of stressful but I actually enjoyed it for the most part. Probably because it was a slow day. I don't know how I will feel on super busy days when I don't know the answer to someone's question.

I was supposed to get off at 5:00 with plenty of time to get to CaptionCall by 6:00, but balancing my drawer and stuff took so long and I didn't get off til almost 5:30. I rushed home to change, then rushed to CaptionCall because Mason wanted to meet me in the parking lot before I went in. I got to spend about 15-20 minutes talking to him and hugging him :)

After work, I was on my way to my old place to pick something up when Mason called me. He had just finished home teaching, and was walking home when I pulled onto his - my old - street. So, I parked in front of his house and then he walked me to my old apartment and back. We stayed outside for a while before I went home.

Back in place.

I still didn't have my car, and so Des drove me to school. As soon as we left our neighborhood, I realized I hadn't put my ring back on after my shower. I felt so naked!

After my first class, Mason picked me up on his motorcycle, lookin dang good, and drove me to my next class. I walked in the building and saw that it was empty and dark, and remembered that class was canceled due to it being exam week. Dumb. Luckily, I rushed back outside right before Mason drove off, but I startled him haha.

He took me back to his place and we were going to study together until it was time for me to go to Biology. However, my dad texted me not long after we got there and said my car was done. So, Mason drove me in his truck to my dad's office, and then my dad took me to my car and I went home, got my ring and put it back on my finger, then got ready for Biology.

After class, I went to my old apartment to get a package that came for me from Zions. Then, I went to Mason's to talk a little and say goodnight.

Stupid stomach.

I met my dad at a car place so I could drop off my car and he could take me to work. I didn't feel well but I decided to go in anyway. After about half an hour, my coworkers and I decided it would be best for me to go home and rest rather than risk everyone else getting sick, too, including clients. I felt bad about it and I knew I would feel better in just a couple hours but staying there would've been miserable.

So I went home to rest for a bit and as soon as Mason got ouf of class, he picked me up and we went to the tux shop to get his tux for our photo shoot and for our wedding day  :) eeeeee. He is SO HANDSOME.

We got some ice cream from Baskin Robbins and it was pretty good. Then we went home to nap, and then he brought me here to work. I hate not having my car ugh.

Bubble Guppies.

I rode to church with Mason and Bobby today. It was a nice day. After church, Mason came home with me for Parker's birthday dinner and party. That was fun :) and after that we just cuddled and took a nap and then he went home.

10,000 B.C.

Mason came over this morning to study at my house so he could get ready for his test. I ran some errands and when he was done with his test, we went to Target together. Then we both went to work. And after work, I went to his house and we watched the movie 10,000 B.C. together.

Barbecue and music.

I worked at Zions all day and then Mason came over and our family had a barbecue. We all hung out for a while until I had to go to Jazzy's for my show. Mason came too, of course. It was pretty fun. I played with Lucrezio, a duo from Chicago, and they were really nice to me.

We then went to my house for the rest of the night.

Parker's Birthday!

Today is Parker's 2nd birthday! The cutest little boy in the world. We're celebrating on Sunday with a little party. :)

I went to the women's clinic this morning to pick up some... things.

Then I went to say hi to Mason while he was in his 3 hour lab on my way to my class.

I went home and took a nap and now I'm at work. After this, I'm going to Mason's to help him with some school stuff.

Tall people probs. Haha.
Cutie in a lab coat.

Frosties.

Worked all day at Zions, went home for a bit to change, then met Mason at the Institute building for our marriage prep class.

After class, I went with Mason while he did some of his Elder's Quorum President duties. Then, we went to Wendy's and got Frosties and stuff.

And then I went home.

I.

Obsession.

I am crazy. I set my alarm for 4:50 a.m. today so that I could get up and drive to Costco before Mason got there. I wanted to surprise him and give him hugs and kisses before work. He was really happy I did it and I regret nothing :)

I went to the gym immediately after, thinking it would help me have energy to last through the whole day. Nope. I was there for 45 minutes working out and was still sleepy. I came home and ate some toast, still sleepy. I went in my room and did some homework and a quiz so that I wouldn't have to worry about it tonight and as soon as I was done, I fell asleep for another couple hours until Mason called me when his shift ended.

I got up and got ready for the day and then met my family (parents, Kirsten, Parker, Desi, and her boyfriend John) at Pizza Factory for lunch.

I left for class and was going to be a couple minutes late. I was turning left at a stoplight when I saw Mason on his motorcycle a few cars ahead of me. So, I just had to follow him and catch up. I honked at him and he pulled over and gave me the biggest hug again. Ah.

I went to my first two classes and then Mason had me go to his house to cuddle. He made me a PB&J so I wouldn't be hungry during my Biology Lab, and then I left for the school.

After lab, I went home. I had a delicious dinner with my family.

I put away a bunch of stuff since I'm temporarily moving into Desi's vacated room.

I also talked to Mason on the phone a couple times. Yeah, obsession. It's great.

Here are a couple sneak peeks from our engagement photos! We had other outfits and there are tons of good photos, but we don't want to show the best ones yet because we're saving them for the actual announcements :) I just love my handsome man.

Cafe Rio & Swig.

My dad is out of town for work and my mom went to work early, and Ben and Connor are in California. So, it was just Kirsten, Parker, and I most of the day. I went to Cafe Rio and Swig to pick us up some lunch and drinks. I started cleaning my room a bit.

Mason came over and we spent some time together before I left for work.

When I get off, I'm going to Tasha's choir concert.

Engagement photos!!

Mason and I went to church but only for Sacrament meeting. I didn't get to sit by him this time because he had to sit up on the stand but it was fun making faces at him throughout the whole meeting :)

We got ready for our photos and then had dinner at my house.

Amber Green met us at the house and then we all headed up to Pine Valley. Kirsten drove Mason and I and Desi and John, and Amber followed us in her car. She interviewed Mason and I and stayed a while to film a little bit of our shoot. It was freezing but it was so fun! I'm sooo excited about the pictures :) I'd been waiting for this for a long time!

We got back home, then Mason and I watched Mad Money with Kirsten and Tasha, although Mason slept through most of it.

It was a great day.

Saturday, October 12, 2013

Costco work party.

Mason came over this morning to give me a kiss, and then went home to take a short nap.

He and my dad came over around noon to help me move all my furniture. My dad left, and Mason and I finished our movie from last night.

We went to my parents' house and finished unloading everything and putting it away.

Then, Mason and I took his motorcycle to his work party. It was a nice dinner held at the Bloomington Country Club. Every employee won a prize at random! Mason won a Roku 3... if you don't know what it is, look it up haha. Not a bad prize for free.

We then went back to my parents' house and cuddled for a bit. He left to go home, and I drove to my apartment to finish cleaning and leave my key behind :(

The most beautiful human.

Clothes shopping.

I worked at Zions most of the day and then met up with Mason. We went to the mall to shop for clothes for our engagement shoot! We found some really good shirts for Mason :)

After that, we went to my place and watched part of a movie.

Mason went home later, and I stayed up until 3 ish so I could finish packing and be ready to move the next day.

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Fall break.

I only have one class on Thursdays anyway. I didn't do hardly anything today. Mason decided to stay at work longer to get more hours, and I went to surprise him at the end of his shift. I don't normally get to see him at work because he usually only works while the store is closed. It was fun to see him working :)

He got off work and we went to my apartment to spend some time together before I had to work.

I worked 4-7. I went to Mason's house just to say hello for a bit and give him a kiss before I drove to my parents' house. Desi dyed my hair for me.

I went home, and stayed up and packed a little.

Starved fury.

I think it’s great for two people to be together. That is a good number. I think, that to keep it alive though, you can’t spend every day together. It wears out the magic, Love means nothing to me if it’s not fortified with fierce, painful longing, brief explosive instances of furious passion and intimacy and then a sad parting for a time. In that way, you can give your life to it and still have a life of your own. I think some couples spend too much time together. They flatten out the potential for experience by constant closeness. Passion builds over time like steam. Let it rage until it’s exhausted and then leave it alone to let it build up again. Why can’t love be insane and distorted? How can it be vital if it has the same threshold as normal day-to-day experience? Why can’t you write burning letters and let your nocturnal self smolder with desire for one who is not there? Why not let the days before you see her be excruciating and ferment in your mind so on the day you go to the airport to pick her up, you’re nearly sick with anticipation? And then when desire shows the first sign of contentment, throw it back in its cage and let it slowly build itself back into a state of starved fury. Then when you are together, it all matters. So that when you look into her eyes, you lose your balance, so that when she touches you, it feels like you have never been touched before. When she says your name, you think it was she who named you. When she has gone, you bury your face in the pillow to smell her hair and you lie awake at night remembering your face in her neck, her breathing and the amazing smell of her skin. Your eyes go wet because you want her so bad and miss her so much. Now that is worth the miles and the time. That matches the inferno of life. Otherwise you poison each other with your presence day after day as you drag each other through the inevitable mundane aspects of your lives. That is the slow death that I see slapped on faces everywhere I go. It’s part of the world’s sadness that’s more empty than cold, poorly lit rooms in cities of the American night.

Work all day.

I have never worked full time in my life. Ever. All my jobs have always been part time, and usually never more than 20-25 hours.

Now I have two part time jobs but my new one conflicts with my old one and so I have to cut back even more hours on CaptionCall. They cut me from 20 to 16 hours about a month ago and so I don't make much here anymore, but it's a nice addition to what I'll be making from Zions. Woo! Still though, I don't work a total amount of hours that adds near full time. In a few months I'll try to do that though, when the semester ends and my honeymoon is over.

Anyway... I went to Zions from 9:30-1:00. Then I went to my parents' house for lunch. My dad was there for his lunch too and we had pizza with my mom and Kirsten.

I went back to the bank and sat in the conference room by myself while I listened in on a conference call for two and a half hours. I then left the bank and zoomed home to change and put a charged battery in my phone, then came straight here to CaptionCall. I'll be here til 9:00 and then I'll be free!

Sparkling.

The first thing I did today was take my ring to the mall again. It just looked dark and dull after I got it resized and I wasn't very happy about it. It used to look so pretty and perfect!

I hurried home because Mason went to my apartment after work. We cuddled for a while, and he dozed off in my arms for a bit. When he left for class, I studied for my class because we had our midterm in class today.

I got done before class was over so I ran home and saw Mason again on my way for a minute. I then went to Sociology and realized I didn't have to go to my Biology lab tonight and I was so happy.

So, since I had so much extra time, I met my mom at Smith's and shopped around with her and then we both went home and had dinner with my family. I also stuck around and wrote a paper for Sociology.

I went home and Mason came over shortly after. We finished watching Safe Haven and then he went home.

I took a quiz on my computer and went to bed.

Monday, October 7, 2013

Study buddy.

I worked at Zions Bank today from 9:30-5:00.

I drove home and changed and then went to the Holland building where I met Mason. We sat at a table across from each other to study. He had already been there about an hour, and we only stayed another hour before we got restless.

We went to my place and finished watching Monster-In-Law.

Sunday, October 6, 2013

Conference.

I woke up and headed to my parents' house at 10:00 a.m. so I could eat french toast and start watching conference.

Around 12:30, Mason joined me. We spent alllll day watching conference and napping and eating snacks (courtesy of my mom!)

We left after dinner and went back to my place. I changed my clothes and we left on a motorcycle ride. We drove around looking at big houses and even stopped to see the guy who taught Mason stuff about building houses. Mason does construction sometimes :)

Then home.

Saturday, October 5, 2013

Home for work.

Mason and I left Orem around noon and drove home. We got to town in time to relax for about 20 minutes before we both had to go to work.

I got off at 9 and cleaned my room and stuff waiting for Mason to get off at 10. He came over and we were going to watch conference but we were sleepy and so we took a nap instead, and when we woke up, Mason went home.

Mission Reunion.

This morning I packed my suitcase and got ready to go. Mason came over and then we took my car and picked up his old mission companion, Dallin.

Then we drove to Orem! It was a long drive. Dallin was in the back seat and he napped for part of it and it was funny because his eyes look partially open while he's sleeping... also kind of creepy. But more funny.

We stopped at Kelsey's and Tyler's in Orem so that I could introduce the love of my life to my best friend! Also, I hadn't seen her baby Milo since the day he was born over two months ago. He's so adorable.

We then went to Mason's and Dallin's mission reunion in Pleasant Grove at a chapel. We were there for three hours talking to people. Mason introduced me to all of his old companions and lots of other people. It was really fun and I ate so many treats.

When it was about over, we left and went to my old roommates' place to visit Amanda. I introduced her to Mason and showed her my ring and we all talked for a while before Rebecca finally came home to join us. Ronnie came over soon after.

That was pretty much it. Haha then we went back to Kelsey's and Tyler's to sleep.

Glitter & Gold.

Today has been fun.

First I went to Zions to take them my passport and stuff to be copied.

Then I met my mom and Kirsten at Ernie's and we went a lot of places together looking at stuff for my wedding. It's just so fun! I love it. Glittery goldly pretty thingies.

I skipped class today because I was having so much fun. But eventually I had to go home and get ready for work. I stopped at Mason's on my way to say hello and give him a kiss.

We were supposed to go on a double date tonight with our friend Brent and his fianceƩ but I just texted Brent and he said they can't so.... we'll see.

Wednesday, October 2, 2013

Zions Bank.

Today was my first day training at Zions Bank! I am not used to standing all day or working all day. Haha CaptionCall sure has made me lazy. I wouldn't mind walking around a lot but just standing in one place gets old really fast.

It was good though. I left for my lunch break and found flowers on my windshield :) Mason left them for me. It made me so happy!

After work, I went home and changed. Then Mason and I went to our new Institute class. We had to switch times because of my new job. I'm glad there is a new time that works for us both now, though. The class has more people and we aren't the only couple in there for a change. I like it.

We went to my house and I made us some Mac & Cheese while Mason did a quiz for school and then we cuddled.

Tuesday, October 1, 2013

Lady.

I went to the doctor this morning. It was soooo fun... not. Haha.

I then went to my parents' house just to say hi.

I then went to the school to say hi to Mason and give him a cookie before his class. I went to my classes. After my lab, Mason came over and we hung out.
