day274.

Suuunday is the best day.
I didn't have any meetings today so I didn't have to go to church til one. Yess. I probably say this a lot but I always mean it: church was soooo awesome today! Seriously, best meetings. The speakers were all great. Adam Hansen played a piano solo in Sacrament meeting, "Oh How Lovely Was The Morning", the version arranged by Marshall McDonald. And it was so beautiful. Man, that McDonald guy is a wonderful arranger, and Adam is a wonderful pianist. I'm convinced Adam will be playing the piano in Heaven. Just like Sigur Ros will be a big part of the music in Heaven. I just know. And Adam also gave the Sunday School lesson which was about knowing our identity and stuff. The best was third hour, when we had a combined meeting and were taught by an Institute teacher, Bro. King. It was one of the best meetings I've had in a long time. I didn't want church to end!
I went home with Katlyn and ate some mac and cheese and stuff, then I had to go back to the Institute building for a meeting. I was excited cause there were lots of cool people there, but not ten minutes into it I got calls and texts from Des and my mom saying they'd broken down on the highway. My parents were on their way to Vegas to take Des and Gabby to the Justin Bieber concert, and I guess the engine just overheated and gave out a little past Mesquite on I-15. So I left the meeting and went to rescue them. Ben drove his car, and I followed him in my car so we could drop off his car for my family and then the two of us would drive back to St. George in my car. We took the old highway, which I've never done. I mean I've driven on it, but not all the way to I-15. It was so beautiful and just... I don't know. Something about driving there, that time of day, listening to Portugal. The Man... it was just complete bliss.
So that all went fine.
I got home in time to go to ward prayer with my friends. Which was also a blast cause I just absolutely love everyone in my ward. Me and I think 6 other girls stayed after everyone else left to listen to how Bro. and Sis. Racker met and got engaged, and to listen to some of their other stories. I love hearing the love stories of old people. They seem so much more genuine and cute and romantic than the way people meet and date nowadays. Those boys used to have to work for their women and they were so willing to treat her so special! It's hard to find guys like that these days.
Ty came to our house right after we got home to check out the place. He fixed our front door! It used to not shut all the way so we always had to use the dead bolt to lock it, but now it's perfect! Oh and the other day, Tyson Tanner fixed our ceiling fan. Guys like that are great and I'm so glad we have some as friends.

So Kelsey more often than not sends me pictures of her at church and it makes me miss the times we used to go to church together.
Me and Katlyn all ready for church!
I just wanted to point out that I have attractive friends.
This is on my way to go rescue my family. What a beautiful place I live in.
Frayends at ward prayer!
Just chillin on the side of the highway.

day273.

Today was the first day in forever that I got to sleep in without being woken up by babies. But it was kind of sad :(
I really dislike Saturdays still. I babysat my nephews with my dad, which is fun because I love them, but I didn't get anything done. Except for going to Desi's school and getting my hair done.
I am at work typing this right now and I just got an emergency call for the first time and I thought my heart was going to pop out of my chest. I don't think the person needed the captioning because it didn't seem like they were pausing to read anything between sentences, but still. Some girl was having difficulty breathing or something and I was so worried I was going to mess up and kill someone or something. Ah. My heart is still pounding. I need to relax.

Now I'm finishing this post a few days later because I don't have internet yet at my new house! So I have to do this at work.
Well Blair picked me up from work and we went to Walmart together because we both moved into new places at the same time and needed some stuff. It's always fun and awkward shopping with a guy at a store where you use a shopping cart, looking like you're married or something.
He took me to see his new place after, which is this cute little cottage type house off of Diagonal Street. I want to live in a place like that so so so so so so so so bad when I get married. You have no idea. Screw the giant dream house in my mind, I want to live in a cozy cottage with short ceilings and old-fashioned appliances and windows that have lace covers.
Except I could do without the giant cockroach that was in his shower.
So then I went home and I pretty much just chilled with the roommates I guess.

Sorry this is like the only picture I took of myself all day... yeah.

And Rory wishes I was a cat I guess.

day272.

I moved today! Yay!
It was ridiculous though. I didn't have class till 11:00 so I took time to wash and curl my hair and dress up all cute, and I only went to two hours of classes like that. I came home and changed into comfy clothes and put my hair up. That's just who I am I guess!
So then my dad and mom helped me move most of my furniture to my new house and got it all set up. I just have to move all my clothes and a few other furniture things and stuff, then unpack and decorate. Oh and then I have to go grocery shopping.
Katlyn's parents took us and Carissa to Carl's Jr., and while I was there I was texting Mic about coming over later, then I looked up and there he was standing in line! What a coincidence. But he and Iggi came over later and just chilled with Carissa and I. Then Carissa and I went to Domino's to visit our new friends and get some pizza.
Then Carissa left and I fell asleep.

day271.

Does anyone else want to come back to this planet yet?
The man I once knew is more real to me than the man who left me behind.
And I'd rather me have never known of his existence, than to feel this way for one minute.

I want to live in one of those cities where talented people paint on the walls and draw on the sidewalks and there's someone playing music on every street corner. And I want to be part of it. I want my hands to be included in the brush strokes, my voice in the music. I want my words to be heard by more than just my bedroom walls.

I just got the best idea.

I don't feel like writing much.
Piano lesson. School. Free pizza. Work. Jazzy's. Tyson. Katlyn. Other Tyson. Guitar.

day269.

Sorry I'm such a slacker, mom.

Tuesday.... hmmm. Oh yeah! I woke up super early (for me) so I could meet Tyson at Breakfast at Tifiny's at 8:00 am so we could have a nice little breakfast together. It was quite pleasant, as we had the quaint outdoor area to ourselves. Then I went to school to practice and go to class and stuff. I hate when I don't write my blog every single night cause I seriously forget so many things by the next day.
Well, it was my day off of work. So I went with Katlyn and Carissa to our new landlord's office to pay our deposit for our new house! I'm so excited to finally move out again. It'll be us and a girl named Melinda. I'll take pictures of it when I'm all moved in and post them on here, probably. So after that I went home. Then my mom, Kirsten, Parker and I went shopping at The Hope Chest like we always do on the last Tuesday of the month when everything is 50% off. But we went too late in the day, so all the good stuff was gone. Sigh. But I found a couple clocks at the hospital thrift store on the Boulevard. We also went to Sell It Again Sam's and my mom bought a new coffee table and a huge picture that is going to be Kirsten's. Maybe my mom will let me have the old coffee table for my new house... hmmm.
When we were done shopping we came home to eat and stuff, and shortly after, Tyson came over. I took him to see my new house along with my mom and Kirsten who hadn't seen it yet. Tyson just thinks they are both hilarious. My mom is always laughing and Kirsten is always cracking jokes. What a pair. They even got him into the big closet where the washer and dryer got to go and shut the doors behind him so he'd be shut in. And he just laughed. I love it.
Kirsten and my mom left, and we hung out to... talk... for about an hour before going back to my house. He did homework while I texted my friends cause I didn't have homework.
He left around midnight when Katlyn came over to sleep at my house because neither one of us have beds in the new house. So yeah.

Dos teeth! I look freaky but he looks so freakin cute.

day268.

It's like there's this whole other world that everyone used to know so well but suddenly completely forgot, and I'm the only one left in it, desperate to bring everyone back, but no one understands.

It's a beautiful thing, not having class til 11:00 on Mondays. After choir today, Tyson called me and he was on campus so I saw him for a few minutes before heading home to eat and stuff. Work went by sooo slow. Some of the worst calls are when a person says the same word in the same exact way multiple times, and it just drives you nuts. Like, this lady was talking all sleepy-like which annoys me like crazy in the first place. But she kept saying "definitely" in this annoying way that was bugging me after maybe 4-5 times she said it. And I started counting, and she said it like that over 60 times. Not kidding. I was going mad.
When I left work, I was suddenly so hyper I was kind of freaking myself out. I was driving home practically yelling to myself about who knows what, along to my music, or something. I left soon after I got home to meet Katlyn and Carissa where they had just finished up FHE. I was still acting nuts. Then we went to Domino's and got a pizza and made best friends with the worker guys. They gave us free cinnamon sticks and took a picture for us! Then we went to Smith's to get lemonade. Then we went to Carissa's house to finish eating the pizza in her front yard.

Seester.

And I am not supposed to get on Pinterest at work anymore, they just changed the rules, so here are my favorite comics I found while browsing the internet.

day267.

Oh, just another perfect day.
Last night at the end of our date, Tyson asked me if I wanted to go to the temple dedication with him today, and I agreed. We went to the 9 o'clock session which was super early for me cause I usually don't have church meetings til 11:00, or even 1:00. But it was nice getting home from it before 11:00. When we got to my house, Kirsten and Ben had made their new breakfast crepes they're going to sell in their restaurant. They had bacon and eggs and yummy things inside and had this amazing gravy with it. My mom cut us some fresh fruit too. Best breakfast.
Then Tyson and I went on a walk to the park up a couple streets from my house to go feed the ducks at that pond some bread. We also went on the swings. I love swings.
He went home because he had stuff to do and had company coming over, which was okay because I got to take an amazing nap. When I woke up, it was time to go to Pine Valley with my family to meet Tanner's family (my cousins) at their cabin. We go there sometimes with them to have dinner and stuff. It was a great time. Tasha and I went and found some horses to pet, and then Tanner took me for a ride in his new truck to look for deer. We saw a few. Before leaving Pine Valley, my family also drove around and saw a couple. Then we went home.
Tyson wanted to see me again, so he came back over and my dad helped us start a fire in the backyard in our little fire thingy. We also have a couple pretty tarp things hanging in our backyard, with some white Christmas lights that are right over the chairs and fire, so it was way beautiful. We sat on the chair swing and my family came and sat around by us and we all chatted a bit. I played my guitar and Tyson just loves it. We made s'mores and then my family went inside. We spent the rest of the time talking and just enjoying a lovely Sunday evening.
Warning: so many pictures.

Tyson and I at the pond :)
Duckses.
Tyson just standing there all standy-like.
Inka loves the car!
I saw him sitting there and I was like are you kidding me.
There is no way this cuteness really exists. Seriously?

She had one eye that was sort of milky. I think she was blind in that eye because whenever I stood on this side of her, she would move to the other side of me.

Oh gosh I want a cabin/house like this so bad.

Conner was holding the football when he saw the moon, so we told him to throw the football to the moon, and he kept trying.

Favorite cousins!

day266.

I'm going nuts right now. Today was so long but in the best way.

I woke up early to get ready for the YSA Conference. I got there around 9 for breakfast and stuff and found some friends to sit by. I was supposed to be an assistant for one of the presenters because I volunteered to be, but he didn't really need me. It was Sam Payne, the guy from Sounds of Sunday. He played us a bunch of songs on his guitar and stuff, it was way cool. I went to another session about love and stuff and then had Durango's for lunch. I left after that cause I didn't want to go straight from there to work.
So I went to Breakfast at Tifiny's. They were really busy today and had run out of a few things so I ran a couple errands for them and also got myself some gelato. Yum. Then I went home and played with my nephews, especially Connor, before going to work.
Work went by kinda slow today. Oh well. Probably cause I was so excited for tonight.
So I ran home and got ready for Tyson to come pick me up. He met my parents and Kirsten and Tasha, and then we left. We went to Samurai 21 just for the sushi. I have tried sushi a few times but only at Chinese buffets, which is never a good idea. The sushi at Samurai was so freaking good I want to eat it every day. Oh my gosh. We shared two rolls and it was amazing.
Then, we went to Menchie's for frozen yogurt. We walked down the Boulevard with it, talking and stuff. I wanted to walk almost to the end to look at the blue lights I noticed the other night. There are some weird blueish lights in this one parking lot. So, we went to the blue lights then back.
Then Tyson took me to this little duck pond I didn't even know existed. It was so peaceful and beautiful and felt so good outside. He told me it's not as pretty during the day so I'm only going to go there at night if I go back.
He took me back to my house and we got in my car to drive around the neighborhood a bit so he could listen to the two songs I have recorded. You know, because they sound best in the car. He really liked them which made me super happy.
So we hugged goodnight and that was the end of that date. It was actually a pretty perfect date.

:)
I only wore this the first half of the day. Heels were killer.
I love my Connor so much.

Walks are cool.
Saw a person dressed up in a Tigger costume dancing at cars.
The land of the blue lights.

day265.

It's okay, I have plenty of other friends.

Today has been a long, eventful day. I went to school, and after my piano performance class, I got invited to go to Ocean Buffet with seven others. I finally got my Chinese buffet craving satisfied! I then practiced the piano for a while which is always a good time.
I decided to go to my favorite store, Urban Renewal, and I bought those funny round glasses that I tried on the last time I was there. It was kind of a stupid buy because they have real lenses in them that I can't see out of and they give me a headache but whatever. I don't regret it.
Then I met my mom and sister at Ross and I got some new pants, a shirt, and two new pairs of shoes. I'm so excited oh my gosh.
After that I met Mic, Iggi, And Emilee at Orange Peel for some smoothies. We sat in that place for over an hour just talking and being silly. I am excited to be friends with Emilee and I know we have the potential to make some really cool music together. So, get excited for that or something.
And then I turned an assignment in at the school. And now I'm at home and it's only 9:00 pm and I am most likely going to go play volleyball at Carson Ence's house with my friends. Or whatever, I don't know.

This is for the guy I'm going to meet tomorrow who is picking me up and taking me for drinks.

I can't believe I wore this shirt today because I almost died of heat.
Chineeese.
I kept this little shell thing that had food on it. I hope that was okay...
New pants.
And my glasses I bought. And my Orange Peel smoothie.

New shoeses.
