Santa's Workshop.

This morning I went with my parents to our neighbor's son's baptism. After that, we made a return at a store then went to our neighbor's house for lunch. It was fun! I sold three CDs for $10 each :)

I then went with my parents to Santa's Workshop and Tai Pan. I got some cool stuff!!

My parents dropped me off at Mason's. We hung out and made sandwiches and then he drove me to work!

Time Capsule.

I worked 9-5 today at the bank. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be for Black Friday. Aside from one crazy rush, the day was actually pretty slow. I even got to leave fifteen minutes early.

I came home and took a shower and started some laundry and got my set list ready for tonight. I relaxed a bit and then got dressed and left the house.

I got to George's around 7:30, and Mason got there soon after. My parents came within 20 minutes of that. Gordon got me all set up on the mics and stuff even though it took forever, and I started my show. I played for about 45 minutes and got $15 in tips! That's more than I make in an hour at either of my jobs so it was worth the play. (Thanks for the $5 dad haha). I also got a free meal, which I shared half of with my love.

My parents left, then Mason and I sat in my car in the parking lot for over an hour. He was going through the stuff in my time capsule and we were just talking after that. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. When I got home last night, I opened a big can that I sealed 10 years ago. My dad finally found it and I was stoked to open it. It was a Young Women's project I did when I was 12 that I was only allowed to open once I got engaged. Inside were things like my wedding colors I wanted back then, a picture of a wedding dress, a list of qualities I wanted to develop myself, a list of qualities I wanted in a future husband (Mason fits all of them perfectly), and a little card I wrote to my future husband, labeled "To You." Isn't that so cute?! It was fun to go through with him.

We parted ways and I came home and watched the second half of the movie "Enough" playing on TV with Tasha, and now I'm going to bed.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I got on Facebook this morning and saw that one of my friends and her husband are trying to sell their apartment contract, and so I told Mason. He texted them and we went to look at their place a little before noon. It was fun because it was our first time looking at a place together! It didn't even feel weird. But it's nuts.

So, then we went to his house and we got Thanksgiving "dinner" ready. It was just he and I and his parents eating together but it was a great meal. I providing stuffing, the easiest thing ever but my favorite essential Thanksgiving dish.

After eating, Mason and I watched some TV together. Soon, it was time for me to go to work. My three hour shift that I actually left an hour early. I was debating going to wait in line at Target but Mason told me he checked it out and it wasn't worth it. So, instead, I went to his house of course! We watched a finance video introduction together :)

He was going to go to bed early since he has to work at 2 a.m. tomorrow, but then his mission president messaged him and a few others saying that he was in town and wanted them to come visit where he was staying. So, we picked up his friend Josh and the three of us drove to Coral Canyon to visit his mission president and his family and some other missionaries in a nice condo that he developed.

"That tree was planted by your Love."

Another long and productive day so far!

I worked 8:45-5:10 and then I rushed home to change and eat something. I then drove to CaptionCall a little early cause Mason wanted to meet me in the parking lot like he does sometimes. It was our only chance to see each other today, and I think it's been almost three months that we've seen each other every single day. :)
So he was waiting on his motorcycle. We took it for a ride up on the old airport hill so he could show me some trees he planted for his Eagle Scout project and stuff. It was so good to see him.

Now I'm working here from 6-9. After this I'll probably go home and eat a lot and write some songs and workout and read and go to sleep.

:)

Autumn leaves.

Today rocked. I love long days. See? Getting up early with something to do is so much better than sleeping in and laying in bed til noon. As much as I love sleep and hate getting up early, I always feel better about my day when I do get up early and get going.

I woke up at 5:00 because I added a shift at CaptionCall this week for 6-noon. It went by pretty fast. I got gas at Smith's and then went to the Hope Chest. The last Tuesday of every month, (almost) everything is 50% off the already super low prices. My mom and I used to go on that Tuesday every month but I have forgotten and missed it for the past six months or so! But today I finally went! And I actually found some pretty good stuff for my future home :) pretty things.

On my way to my first class, I stopped at my dad's office and said hi for just a couple minutes. As I was leaving, Desi and John pulled up so I got to see them too.

Both of my classes were kind of boring today but it's okay. No lab!

So, I got done at 3:45 and I went to Mason's. We then drove to the middle of town and got out to walk around downtown St. George. We walked around a couple blocks near Main Street through the neighborhoods. I wanted to do it before Autumn is over and the leaves are gone. And it was beautiful and perfect. I should've taken pictures. Oh well.

We then went to Chuck-a-Rama for dinner. It was soo good and I got sooo full. Man, I better fit in my wedding dress a month from now... YEAH WE'RE ALMOST DOWN TO A MONTH PEOPLE. 38 DAYS.

After dinner, Mason asked if I wanted to go shopping anywhere. How nice of him to ask because I needed to go to Ulta to use my coupon and get some stuff before the 30th. So, he went with me to the beauty store and I picked up some things.

We went back to his house and cuddled a bit before it was time for me to leave. Goodnight Mason.

Drive thru.

There are pros and cons to sleeping in (duh). For me, if I have nowhere to be in the morning, I absolutely love that I get to lay in my bed as long as I want. But... I also don't like it because it makes me feel lazy. I know there are things I COULD be doing, like reading a book or cleaning my room or making things, but it's hard when I know I can just lay there and get away with it.

So obviously, today was one of many days when I didn't really do anything all morning.

I didn't work until 1:45. I worked at the Zions on River Road until 7:15. It was my first time ever closing at the bank, and also my first time working at one of the drive thru computers. I mean, I've helped drive thru customers tons of times but I'm always stationed at the lobby computers. It was a nice change. Working after the lobby closes is great because you can actually sit down, and you can talk about whatever you want with your coworker. The girl I closed with is Annie and I like her a lot. She's super cool and nice to me even though I did a lot of ditzy things today. Haha...

and then I went straight to babe's house to help him with his school stuff. Yes I actually help... kinda.

I left after a couple hours and came home.

Released.

After work last night, I came home and Mason was waiting for me in front of my house. We went inside and watched Red Dawn together. It's a really good movie. And I had a really great day and night.

Today was Mason's last day as Elder's Quorum President. He was sad but he started to feel relieved. And I'm way excited cause now I get even more of his time! Woohoo! Well, a little bit. It'll be nice for him to have this break before we get married. Less than six weeks now!!

After church we went to his house and had a snack. Then, we started studying together for a couple of his economics quizzes. His parents came home and we all had dinner together. Then Mason and I relaxed for a bit before doing the second quiz.

Mason gave me a short but wonderful massage and then I came home!

My bridal shower!!

Today was sooooo fun. My mom's friends and our family and Mason's sister and my friends all came to my house to celebrate. Kelsey even came all the way from Orem with Tyler, Milo, and Winter (the dog). I'm really glad she and Melinda were there. It was a way fun shower and I got so many great presents! I'm a spoiled girl.

Eeeeeee I'm getting married in six weeks! I can't freakin wait.

When Kelsey and Tyler got to my house, Mason came over soon after (the bridal shower was ending kinda) and he took Tyler to go play basketball at the rec center. Cute huh. Our husbands (well, my future husband and her husband) are friends! Yay! And oh my gosh Milo is so cute. And Winter looked like a llama from where I could see her in the car. Hahaha.

People were almost all gone when Mason and Tyler came back. Kelsey and Tyler left to go to Kanab. Mason and I cuddled for a few minutes before he left to go see Catching Fire. Without me. Rude.

And now I'm at work. Yaaaaaaay.

Free salad.

Today I worked at the Zions on the Boulevard, the main branch. It wasn't so bad actually. I was working with a couple people who I know from my parents' neighborhood and stuff.

When I got off, I went home and changed and Mason came over shortly after to pick me up. We ate some pizza real quick with my family and then went to a wedding. It was funny because we thought we were just showing up in the middle of a reception, but we were actually an hour late to the actual ceremony. Except we weren't really late because the bride was an hour late and everyone was still waiting. I'm glad we didn't get there on time!

We drove back to my place so I could get ready for my show, when I got a message from Ryan asking where I was. I thought the show was at 9. It was at 8. Oops. So I raced to Jazzy's with Mason close behind me and got there at about 8:20. I played five songs, Mason left, then I watched Lyndy and Steve play their set by myself. I finally got my free salad, and also a free smoothie! It was awesome.

Mascara.

Today I had class and then I went home to eat and put on mascara because I freaking forgot to this morning. Sheesh. The last time I forgot to put on mascara was like 8th grade or something.

On my way to work, I ran to Smith's and picked up a Target giftcard.

After work, I went home. And then around 8:15 I went to Mason's so we could go to our friends' house at 8:30 and deliver the gift card. They just got married last week.

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

Just that.

I worked at Zions on River Road today. I went out to my car and Mason was waiting for me in his truck :)

We went to his house together and I got a snack and then we went to institute. Afterward, we talked a while and then I went home.

Tuesday, November 19, 2013

Welp.

Today was my classes day, like always.

In between sociology and biology, I went to Mason's and studied and ate some dinner with him.

Biology wasn't very long, I just went home after.

Monday, November 18, 2013

Hurricane.

I am just getting worse and worse at doing this dang blog.

I worked in Hurricane today. It wasn't so bad. I got Subway and Swig on my lunch break.

After I got back into town, Mason and I went to the gym together and worked out our legs.

And that's like, all.

Sunday, November 17, 2013

Ups.

After church today, I went home and Mason went home to change before coming over. We helped finish dinner and then we all sat down to eat. It was roast beef and mashed potatoes and broccoli and biscuits.

Then, we restarted Pacific Rim and watched it with Kirsten, Tasha, and the kids.

And in between all that and everything, it was a great day.

Funny happenings.

Our pictures yesterday turned out great. I'm so excited! After we were done, we went to Red Lobster. Yum.

And after that, we went to Rylee's and Tyler's wedding reception. It was funny cause I forgot to bring the invitation with the address, but I remember it saying "Staheli barn" and so I thought it would be at the Staheli farms. Mason and I got there, got out and started walking toward the barn, and we could hear music and people. Then we looked inside and realized it was definitely not our friends' wedding. It was a Mexican fiesta. Hahahahaha. We started walking back to our car when we ran into a girl and found that she was making the same mistake as us. So, she called a friend and we figured out the "Staheli barn" was on Telegraph. Hahaha. The wedding reception was nice though, and we got pie!

Today was nice. I didn't get called in but it's okay because that meant I got to go and perform my call back audition for Dixie's Got Talent. I sang a song that I finished writing this morning. And actually it's not even finished yet still, but I made it to be two minutes because that was my time limit for the audition. I'll finish it though :) It's a love song for Mason of course.

After my audition, I stopped at Mason's for about an hour to visit, then I went back home.

I worked tonight. Then I went back to Mason's and we started watching Pacific Rim but we didn't finish it.

Redo.

Okay so this morning I was stressing. I was on call and even though I didn't get a shift at the bank on Wednesday, I really really didn't want to get called in today so that Mason and I can retake our pictures this afternoon. My wish came true and I didn't get called in! Woohoo! Pictures! That means sending out announcements soonish.

Mason called me after he got off work and I met him at the school about a half hour before his class so we could sit and talk and just be together. It was nice. Today, like yesterday, is a really beautiful day and it feels great outside. I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

I came home and cleaned my room and did some other stuff and now I'm sort of trying to write a new song. It hasn't been quite as easy these days to write new songs but I guess I could put more time into it. It's hard to write a song that isn't too similar to a song I've already written. Seriously!

So yeah. The rest of the day should be awesome.

Thursday, November 14, 2013

Perk's.

I woke up super early this morning because I decided I wanted to take a breakfast burrito to Mason on his break at work. I got to sit with him for a little over 10 minutes in my car while he ate and of course it was good to see him. He's so cute. Gosh.

I came home and did some homework, then went back to sleep for a bit.

I got back up and got ready for my class.

After my class was super fun. I met Mason in the Smith's parking lot and we played around in the leaves on the grassy hill by the street. Then we drove around and got smoothies at Perk's. Soon I had to go to work.

After work I went to my old place to visit Melinda and Emily. It was really good to see them and catch up a little. Melinda went to dance so I waited for Mason to get done with his home teaching visits. Then we spent a little time together before the night was over.

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Workout buddies.

So, I didn't get called in today but that's okay. I tried painting my clocks some more but it's not working out for me too well. I need to try something else.

Mason and I went to the gym together for the first time! I hate going to new gyms at first. It just takes me a couple times to get used to it and feel comfortable. Plus this gym has way more dudes than my old gym. I feel like they're always staring at me even though they're probably not. Anyway, it was fun being there together.

We then went straight to our institute class. And after that, we hung out for just a bit longer.

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

Switching gyms.

Today was career day so my first class was canceled. So I went to Sociology, then I went to Alex's house to pick up my blanket that I left in his car months ago.

Then I went to Gold's Gym. Mason was working out with his friend Zack. I signed up for a new membership :) Mason and I can be workout buddies now!

I then went to my bio lab. And then went home. Mason was in his presidency meeting but as soon as it was over, he came to my house and we played more Mario.

Monday, November 11, 2013

Walk.

Since it was a holiday, I wasn't on call today.

When Mason got out of school, we met up at Target to finish our wedding registry and then I had to go to work. Afterward, I went to his house and we went on a walk and stuff.

Sunday, November 10, 2013

Back row.

So we didn't end up going to the Gish house last night, but we did have fun together and watch a movie.

It was Stake Conference today. Mason was saving us a seat up front on the soft seats. He left to get a drink, leaving his scriptures in his spot, and when he got back someone was sitting in his spot. Rude. So, we decided to sit on the very very back row of the room. Which means we sort of kind of got to cuddle a little bit and that was nice.

After church, I went to Mason's and we had lunch with his parents. We also took a short nap. When we woke up, I went home so Mason could do some stuff and I could too.

A little later, I went back over for dinner. Then, we both came back to my house to play Mario.

Saturday, November 9, 2013

Pot Holes.

I forgot to write what Mason said last night while we were in his truck. It's so silly but so sweet. He told me that he had heard somewhere that when women are pregnant, driving over pot holes is super irritating to them. And so he is already trying to get into the habit of avoiding them for me. Because one day I will be pregnant. Yeah, he is being thoughtful and forming a habit that is going to benefit me years from now. I'm so in love.

Anyway. Today I have been so lazy. I was on call but I didn't get a shift. I got some drinks from Fabulous Freddy's for Kirst and I, because they were only 50 cents today. I also went and got my hair trimmed by Desi at her work. On my way home, I stopped and got two more drinks for my dad and Kirsten's friend Rayni.

I'm working at CaptionCall right now. I really am starting to dislike this job more and more. Ugh.

But tonight will be fun. Mason and I are joining Beau and all his friends at the Gish's house for games like I've done before. Mason hasn't been yet though.

Friday, November 8, 2013

Institute Dance.

I got another shift today, this time at the branch on River Road. I left my house with just enough time to get there, and right after I left, Mason called me cause he had just gotten off work. He was on his way home and met me at the bank to give me a kiss and walk me to the door :) it was the best. The shift went by okay.

When I got off, I went to my old place to pay my roommate for the last utility bill that came after I moved out. Then, I went to see Mason even though I was going to see him in a couple hours when he came to pick me up. It just didn't make sense not to, since I was already on his street!

I went home and got ready in my dress and then he picked me up a bit later. We went to the institute building for the dinner/dance. They served us pizza, pasta, bread, and salad from Brick Oven plus some pie. Then after a while, we got on the dance floor! I love dancing with Mason so much.

He took me home and came inside the house to tell my parents hello, then left.

Turning Page.

Even though I only got to see Mason for five minutes today, it was a really good day.

I went to the gym, and again, Mason stopped by on his way from work. I spent five minutes hugging and kissing and talking to him before he had to go to class and I continued my work out.

I went home and got ready for class. After class, I met my mom at Michael's for a bit and then headed home to relax before going to work.

My three hour shift was uneventful.

I stopped at Red Ginger on my way home to pick up food that Kirsten had ordered for us to share. I took it home and we ate it. Sweet and sour chicken. Mmmm.

I then spent the next hour on a conference call with my fellow Zions Bank peak time employees.

Mason called me toward the end of the call, so as soon as it ended, I called him right back. We talked for the next 45 minutes and it was easily the best part of my day. I cannot explain my appreciation for him in my life. I just can't. Oh how I wish I had a recording of everything he's ever said to me.

Anyway, one of the many things we talked about was pride and how it is the reason for almost every contention in the world. He suggested I read a couple LDS conference talks, and I wanted to share them because I really liked them.

http://www.lds.org/ensign/1989/05/beware-of-pride

http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2010/10/pride-and-the-priesthood

I hope you'll read them.

Another thing, I'm really loving this song lately. I found it on a playlist on Spotify and saw that it is from one of the Twilight movies. I don't remember hearing it in any of them but I really really love it.

I've waited a hundred years
But I'd wait a million more for you
Nothing prepared me for what the privilege of being yours would do
If I had only felt the warmth within your touch
If I had only seen how you smile when you blush
Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough
I would have known what I was living for
What I've been living for

Your love is my turning page
Only the sweetest words remain
Every kiss is a cursive line
Every touch is a redefining phrase
I surrender who I've been for who you are
Nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart
If I had only felt how it feels to be yours
I would have known what I've been living for all along
What I've been living for

We're tethered to the story we must tell
When I saw you well I knew we'd tell it well
With the whisper we will tame the vicious scenes
Like a feather bringing kingdoms to their knees

Portable piano!

I was on call today for the bank and I got a shift! Woohoo! I was relieved to find out it was at the Washington branch, which Ben (my brother-in-law and former peak time teller) told me was one of the good ones to work at. All the tellers I worked with were girls around my age and they were super nice and fun to talk to.

On my way to work, I realized I was just up the street from Costco and I had just a couple extra minutes so I hurried inside and luckily found Mason near the front of the store. He was excited to see me and knew I was in a hurry but he wanted to show me something so we ran to the middle of the store. The piano we had been looking at a few weeks ago was $100 cheaper! So, he bought it for us! I'm so so so excited about it. Eeeee. Anyway, I was with him for less than 4 minutes and I rushed to work.

After work, I came home and relaxed. Mason and I had our institute class together and it was really good. I then drove him home (because he had been dropped off so his dad could drive his truck home) and stayed for about an hour just talking. Oh my gosh I love Mason so much. (mom, tell Kirsten ;) )

It was a really good day.

Tuesday, November 5, 2013

Keys.

I went to the gym this morning and not long after I got there, Mason called me, just getting off work. He swung by the gym on his way home to say hi so I got to see him for a few minutes. I really need to switch to his gym so we can just work out together. I will... eventually. Anyway. The gym was good.

I then went home and got ready for class. After my first two classes, I went to help Mason do some stuff for church but it ended up taking quite a while to get the right keys to get into the chapel and so I didn't have much time to help him before I had to go to my biology lab. It was fun driving all over town with him though!

My lab was short and sweet and easy. I came home and ate dinner and relaxed.

Monday, November 4, 2013

Wedding Registry.

Today was my first day "on call" as a teller. I didn't get a shift, but I did have a shift at CaptionCall (and I also get paid for two hours of on call for the bank) so it was fine. Since I didn't have to work until late afternoon, I took a short nap and then went into town with my mom, Kirsten, and the boys. They're a handful but I still do enjoy doing things with my family.

Before I went to work, I met up with Mason after his class so we could go to the mall real quick. Then I went to work for four hours.

After work, I picked up Mason and we went to Target to register for wedding gifts! Yep, it was just as fun as I hoped it would be! It's so fun to have a guy who is so into the whole wedding thing. He loves it all.

Our first photo booth experience together. Ha.
Aw Connor.

Mario Brothers.

This was just the best Sunday!

Church was really great. And as soon as it was over, I went home and waited for Mason to drop off his friend and then he came over too. We helped finish making dinner and then ate Hawaiian haystacks. Yum.

After dinner, Kirsten let Mason and I borrow her tv and Wii so we could play Mario Brothers! It was so much fun. Mason and I had never played any kind of video games together but we really got into it and made a great team :)

My favorite part about the evening was that I wasn't worried about what time Mason had to go home. Usually he has somewhere to be early in the morning and so I'm always stressing about what time it is and how much time I have left with him. But tonight was great because I got to just relax and be with him the whoooole day. I'm spoiled.

Saturday, November 2, 2013

Painting.

Today has been lazy of course. I just can't make myself get up early on Saturdays.

I went to Michael's and bought some paint and stuff, and briefly visited my mom at her work.

Then I went back home and started painting some stuff for my wedding. I'm so excited!

I came to work at 5:00 and halfway through my shift, Mason texted me and told me to take my break because he was nearby.

He met me on the big staircase (right where we took our pictures hehe) and he stayed for a few minutes. It was really nice to see him, just like every day. When I get off, he's coming over and we're going to watch a movie!

Done training.

Last day of training. Target, Mall, Walmart, Wendy's, Mason's. Guitar.

Today was my last day training at Zions. I have my first official schedule for next week and I'm nervous to go to the other branches. I'll feel like I'm starting all over again getting used to new buildings and people. Ah!

After my day at work, I went home and ate dinner. Then I went to Target with my mom and Kirsten for a bit. I left and went to the mall and to Walmart to get some stuff done.

Mason slept most of the day since he got less than 3 hours of sleep last night. They made him go into work at 2:15 this morning. Poor guy. So, when he woke up he had to finish an assignment.

When he was done later at night, I went to his house and he was outside talking to someone on the phone. I paced around with him until they hung up and then we stayed sitting outside just talking. It was really nice. Have I mentioned that I love our conversations?

We also practied dancing, just a little bit. We really need to get on that...

His parents had never heard me play my guitar or sing before, so I took my guitar inside and they sat down and listened to me sing Mason's song for him. Then I went home :)
