day168.
He left, and he never came back.
- People I saw: Laney, Matt, Teesha, Taneesha, Anna, Amanda, Chandy, Sam (new), Tawny, Bradley, another Matt, Carston, Kalon, Brayden, Derrick, Slade, Ryan, CJ, Kyle, Brian, etc...
- Things I did: I went with my family to Walmart. Everyone except Des, she was in Vegas all day with a few of her friends. We then went to Target, the dollar store, and Ross. I got a couple new cute shirts and some shorts. We went home but I wanted to go to Costco to exchange my phone for the same one, cause something is wrong with mine. I went with Tasha then realized it was super busy and I was in a hurry so we just bought some chocolate chips and came home. I hurried and got ready and Matt and Teesha picked me up then Laney. We met a bunch of people in Washington and drove to Sand Hollow Reservoir to swim and cliff jump. One of the Matt's and I swam so dang far out to this rock and then back, plus the swim out to the island so I was worn out by the time we were done. He and I also went on another adventure walking all the way around the huge island nearly scorching our feet doing so. But it was fun. In the parking lot, some guy came over to our truck and did a sweet handstand so I filmed it with my phone. Then as they drove off he yelled out the window, "Tag me in that video! You're Ashlee!" and I was like.. uhh.. I have never seen that guy in my life and I have no idea how he knows my name. Anyway.
We were all dropped off at home. I showered and got ready in a dress and heels and picked up Laney to go to a party out on top of Foremaster Drive. A girl was having her 21st birthday party and lots of people showed up to dance and have fun. Laney and I met some cute guys from Hurricane: Luke, Cody, Gary, and Robert. I like hanging out with Laney cause she has to work early in the mornings, therefore I have to come home a little earlier and it's actually really nice. So now I'm home, worn out, and my feet hurt. That means it was a good day. - Something I learned: Don't put your arms in the air when people are bumping each other around. I elbowed a tall dude in the face.
- Something I appreciated: That sweet feeling of relief when you take off your heels.
- Song you should listen to:
Before the lake.
Even before that, at Target. I can't put my pictures in order for some reason.
Getting everyone in one vehicle so we don't have to pay a ton.
On my way to the party. I kinda look.. really weird.
Parker sleeping after shopping earlier today. He gets so worn out :)

day167.
- People I saw: Laney, Allyson, Troy, Cody, Oscar, people I don't know.
- Things I did: Work, visited Jostlyn at her work, failed AGAIN at plasma, went to Costco with my mom who also failed. Then at home Laney picked me up and took me to a pool party. We played basketball in the pool and our team lost 19 to 21.. but it was a good game. Those people had a magnificent backyard. After that we drove to Diamond Valley for some sort of something but we couldn't figure out if it was still going on and we didn't see any cars. Ty had called me on the way there inviting me to go camping so we decided to go to where they were gonna be just to hang out. We waited by the turn off to Baker Reservoir and Ty said he'd be there but he took too long so we left, because Laney has work at 6 a.m. We still had a good time talking and driving around. So she dropped me off and now I'm in bed waiting to Skype one of my friends.
- Something I learned: People are MORONS on the road. Imagine the two turning lanes when you're turning left onto the freeway from St. George Blvd. So I'm in the one on the right, and I'm in the middle of turning left when the car in the lane to my left goes STRAIGHT. Right in front of me! Like.. what in the freaking world were they thinking? I don't know if you can imagine how ridiculously stupid that was but it blew my mind.
- Something I appreciated: Car horns. Put mine to good use today. Moron.
- Song you should listen to:
My work was freezing.
Sweet angel. My nephew Parker hanging out with me in my room.
Laney and I at the pool party!
Just a tiny part of the backyard we had the pool party at.

day166.
- People I saw: Allyson, Keith.
- Things I did: I really don't think I did anything out of the ordinary today.
- Something I learned: People are COWARDS.
- Something I appreciated: Courage. Few have it.
- Quote of the day: "I like straight jackets!" -Tasha.
- Song you should listen to:
I own lots of skirts! Finally.
While I was hyper today.
Happy 32nd anniversary, Mom and Dad. Thanks for stickin together and teaching me there's such thing as lasting love.

day165.
- People I saw: Keith, Allyson, Francisco, Carlos, Tyson, Laney, Kristi, Levi, Mason, Jake, Lane, Devon.
- Things I did: Work was good today. My boss brought me some pie from the Village Inn which was scrumptious. Failed at plasma again. Went to DI and didn't buy anything but tried on things. Went to my institute class. Made a new friend I think. Jake invited me over after institute so I followed him to his apartment. He made me try styling his hair with gel and I'm just glad I'm a girl and not a dude with dude hair. It's pressure!
Cutest thing today though. Connor was in my bathroom while I was getting ready, and he saw that my glasses were next to their case but not in it, so he put them in for me. But as he was doing so, the case (which is spring-shut-whatever) shut on his little fingers. It was sad but he's just so sweet. - Something I learned: I think we all realize this. That a big chunk of the problems in today's society are a result of people being just plain lazy, and so quick to blame anything on anyone but themselves. We're all guilty sometimes! But seriously... stop blaming the government for every single problem. There are lazy people out there who will put more effort into getting welfare than they will into building a career. Just things like that.
- Something I appreciated: Humor.
- Quote of the day: "May I never drink a dew again I want you as my girlfriend."
- Song you should listen to:

day164.
- People I saw: Peggy Armour, Alex Hunsaker.
- Things I did: I woke up before 7 a.m. to go on a hike with Tasha, then I came home and went back to sleep before going into work earlier than normal. I tried to donate plasma but didn't pass. On the way home, someone made it impossible for me to turn right from River Road onto the Boulevard, and for some reason it really made me mad and I kept driving straight. So then instead of going home I turned left and went to Ulta and bought some new lipstick and stuff to make me feel better. We had sloppy joes tonight for dinner.
I met my friend Alex at Baskin Robbins at 7 p.m., and we had some ice cream. After that he decided he was hungry for real food so we went to Jimmy John's. Then he gave me a ride on his motorcycle. That was fun. I want a motorcycle so so so so so so so so badly. We then picked up some treats from Smith's to smuggle into the movie theater where we watched Men in Black 3. - Something I learned: It isn't important to impress people, just to make it so they feel your absence.
- Something I appreciated: Water is (usually) free.
- Quote of the day: "Everyday after I get all ready I just think 'wow I'm good looking' then I just feel better about myself." -Shalem
- Song you should listen to: I'm sorry if I've already posted this. It came on my ipod on shuffle today and then I listened to it 20 times throughout the day.
Tasha.
Favorite nail polish.I guess my bathroom was on fire.
Watermelon flavored with chocolate chips!

day163.
- People I saw: Keith, Allyson, Osiel, Kacey, Jostlyn, people at FHE.
- Things I did: We went to a meeting this morning for work, then I went to Ironwood to drop off some stuff for the guys. Allyson told me that one of them, Elvin, told her I am "very pretty". Awwuh :) I went back to the office. After work I met my mom, Kirsten, Tasha, Connor, and Parker at Target. I tried on a bunch of clothes and stuff but I didn't buy anything. I visited Jostlyn at her house for a bit while she was doing a newborn photo shoot. Then I came home and tried getting into my room for more than 10 minutes. You see, I lock my bedroom door when I leave so that my nephew Connor won't come in and get my nail polish everywhere or try to eat things. Usually it's really easy to unlock my door with a screwdriver but lately it just stopped working so... my dad put a new door handle on that will unlock with a key. Yess. So I went to the institute building to meet for FHE for which we had a service scavenger hunt. I ended up in a group with Sterling and a bunch of his friends from Kanab, including Bryce, Shayne, Jaylyn, Savannah, etc.. When we were done doing chores and such for people, we went to Iggy's and Shayne bought me dinner.
When I got home I went through a bunch of old photo albums, so bear with me while I post a million pictures. - Something I learned: We will always be delivered from bondage.
- Something I appreciated: Car phone chargers.
- Quote of the day: "She forgot about us, we forgot to tip!" -Bryce.
- Song you should listen to:
Me and my older sister Kirsten. She's always been the best :)
My dad looking awesome. And me!
My beautiful mommy 21 years ago.
My little sisters and I in front of our old house over 7 years ago.
I don't even know where this was, but it was 2005. I wish my hair still looked like that.. and my face.
Sisters in 2005.
I think this was also 2005. Can I have those legs again please?

day162.
- People I saw: Sam Packer, Seth Weinheimer, Sam Jamison, Tyson Tanner, Ty Mangum, Brance Boren, Kyle Arbizu, a bunch of other people from my ward, Jake Sundles, Lane Andreasen, Brian something, Peter, Devon, etc....
- Things I did: My family came to my single's ward today to hear Kirsten and I sing. It went pretty well I think. Sam and Seth also came to listen, that was nice of them. During Sunday school I left to go to the care center to play the piano for their short sacrament meeting. I went to ward prayer tonight but didn't stay long before going to Jake's, Lane's, and Brian's apartment to hang out. We watched Kyle XY, set up black lights and a strobe light, and just hung out. Desi came over too :)
- Something I learned: Someone tonight told me that I'm a really nice person.
- Something I appreciated: Respect.
- Quote of the day: "I don't know if a Monster is worth your eternal salvation." -Lane.
- Song you should listen to:
"Are these toenail clippers?" -Lane
Brian.

day161.
- People I saw: Ammon, Chrissy, and Kiba Sorden, Kiersten, Qualyn, Ayden Barlow, Sam Packer, Seth Weinheimer, Kacey Rogers, Trevor Apple, Brett Brostrom, Kyle Broadhead.
- Things I did: Man the days are just going by too fast. I feel like I have this list of things I want to do that I'm about to do but then something fun happens so I do that instead. For instance: organizing my closet and drawers. It just needs to be done.
Anyway, I woke up in Desi's bed because my bed had just been replaced last night and wasn't quite ready for me. She was at a friend's house so it worked out. I got ready and went to donate plasma, which was painless enough. After that I got a drink at Sonic during happy hour before going to Ammon's house. Ammon has been my friend since we were 6 and he lived up the street from me. He is married and had his first kid 2 months ago, and I finally got around to visiting the little boy today. His name is Kiba and he's adorable. I had a good chat with Ammon about politics and news and how to educate myself. I'm excited.
I went to Kiersten's and Qualyn's after that, because they also had a baby boy, just less than two weeks ago. So I went to meet little Ayden! Also beautiful.
Right after I got home, I was picked up by Sam, Seth, Brett, and Kacey. We all drove over to Brett's dad's house in Green Springs to watch the game. Holy crap that house was like a castle on the inside, with red and gold decorations and just crazy hugeness. The commercials during the game kept advertising Taco Bell, so after it was over, I convinced everyone to go so I could get some nachos. We saw Kyle and a girl from my ward there who's name I can't remember.
Oh by the way, we got stuck at both of the two stoplights on top of the Bluff overpass so we decided to do TWO chinese firedrills. Seth ended up in the driver's seat for the second one, and it was so hilarious because he's 6'9, and my seat was all scooted forward and he barely fit.
That was on our way going to find Seth's canoe to take it out to the Ivin's Reservoir. So we had gotten my car, found the canoe, strapped it onto MY car, and started driving. As soon as we got onto the old highway, the wind was crazier than I've ever seen it in St. George. Sam and Seth were both leaning out the windows on either side of my car trying to hold the dang canoe in place, but seriously I'd be scared driving in that wind even if there wasn't a giant thing on top. So we dropped off the canoe at Sam's, then went to Kacey's and watched The Notebook. It was totally the guys' idea to watch it, and they cried. No lies. - Something I learned: Canoe + Ford Focus + insane wind = epic fail.
- Something I appreciated: This new bigger bed I'm now enjoying. I will miss my best friend though...
- Song you should listen to:
Ammon and Kiba and me :)
Ayden!
Just one room of the ridiculous house we watched the game at.
Sam trying to make the canoe sturdier during the insane wind.
and Seth trying to drive my car. Hahahaha.

day160.
- People I saw: Allyson, Ty, Laney, Lewis, Ryan Briggs, Dallas, Sam Packer, and people I don't know.
- Things I did: Went to a work meeting this morning, came home and took a nap, went back to work. Left work early to come home and get ready to go to Ty's. Went with Ty out past Hurricane toward Zion into a canyon. A couple guys had gotten there earlier (professional rock climbers?) and tied a rope from one 120-something ft. cliff to another one. They hung a rope from that rope down to a ledge connected to a harness and we all took turns jumping. It wasn't above water, so we just swung back and forth and then got pulled back up. It was super awesome! Giant rope swing! Adrenaline! We also found a rattlesnake right by where we were, so Dallas cut it in half with a machete. Gross. After getting back into town at night, I went to Sam's house and we watched Madagascar 2. It was a pretty short movie so then we put in Thor, because I had fallen asleep the last time I tried watching that. Well guess what, I fell asleep again. Whoops. I woke up at like 3:00 and came home. Sorry Sam! You're great.
- Something I learned: Jumping is much easier if you don't think. But life shouldn't be that way! Just jumping off cliffs.
- Something I appreciated: Those guys for taking all that time to set stuff up for us to do awesome things.
- Song you should listen to:
