Kelsey was supposed to come to town today but her sister was coming to Kanab from Logan so she stayed there.
I went to theory, and then I got to play my Nocturne in my piano performance class. It was fun :) After that I came and spent some time with my dad at his house.
I figured out that one of my missing beanies was at Blair's house, so I went to his place to get it. Then he showed me the new house that he's buying and moving into, and Dallas came with us. His house is freaking amazing. I'm so so jealous of it.
Later, I met at Brother Beard's house with a bunch of people and we played games for our "Friday Night Activity." It was fun. Carissa, Lindsay, Alyssa, Laney, and I went to Denny's after for some hot chocolate.

Crap I now have almost four days behind me.
Well Wednesday night after work, I went to Levi's and he made me dinner and then we watched a movie.
Today I pretty much just did school and work I guess. Crap I don't remember what I did afterward! I'm pretty sure I went to the school and practiced a bit. And then I got some Blizzards at Dairy Queen for my parents and I and took it to their house.  But I can't remember what else...

Last night I did practice! Steve came and talked to me a bit during my practice and then I went home. Nate and Lewis were there. Man I really missed Lewis! And Melinda!

Today my piano lesson went really well. I finally have memorized Chopin's Nocturne in F minor, and I'm performing it in class.

I had another appointment today for my foot, and I no longer have to wear that giant boot! I just have a special shoe now, for two weeks. But in two weeks I'm getting surgery on my other foot, so Booty will be back soon. Now I'm at work. I'll probably go to Jazzy's after and play one of my new songs!

Last night after work I practiced piano, visited Randon who has the flu, and then I went on a drive with Steve. We ended up at Denny's and he won me a creepy thing from the claw machine and bought my dinner.

Today I barely made it to class. After school, Kelsey came over and then we went to eat at Costa Vida. We went to the Vintage Garden, Hope Chest, Target, Ross, etc. Oh and Orange Peel. It was a really good day and I got really cool stuff. Crap I should've taken a picture of it before coming to where there's internet.. Oh well. I'll show tomorrows.

Now I'm just finishing up my ear training homework, then I'm gonna go over to the school to practice. Bleh.

So today has been absolutely nuts so far and I hope no one gets upset if I blog about it.

Well the first part of my day was normal. I got up early and went to the school to practice piano, ran into McKay Wright who I haven't seen since high school, went to my classes, etc.

Then I went home to eat some broccoli and do my music theory assignment that is due today. I was starting to work on it when I got a call from my best friend and she was bawling. I asked what was wrong and all she said is "I can't talk about it right now" and I asked if everything was okay but she said no. She asked me to come to the mall and to hurry. So I ran out the door and when I got there, she was standing in the parking lot with two cop cars, crying. I got out and hugged her and asked what in the world was going on but she still didn't explain anything. She just needed me to take their car away. Her husband was already in the back of one of the cop cars. I watched as she walked over to the other one and got handcuffed and put into the backseat.

I didn't know what else to do so I called Dallas and asked if I could come pick him up and have him drive one of the cars for me. We took the car to Wal-mart and then I hurried to work.

Now I'm just sitting here waiting til I get off to find out what happened.

On a lighter note, here's a picture I snuck of Dallas during his voice lesson. He now knows I took the picture, so it's not completely creepy... right?

I was so dang tired today. I was sleepy in church, then I got home and took a fairly long nap, then I went out to the living room to talk to my roommates and I fell asleep in a chair. I visited my parents for a minute. Then Sam Pace came over to hang out, and we all went to ward prayer. After that, Sam and I headed over to Dallas's place at Rebel Creek to play some games. Us plus Blair plus Kahryn played "Bang!" the same game I played in Kanab. Funny.
Then Katlyn and Ty and McKayle and Carissa and Derrick and Lauren showed up and we played Mafia.
That was pretty much my day :)

Saturday after I got off work, I met my mom and two of her coworkers at Dairy Queen for some Blizzards. I was hesitant to try the candy cane one but it was the best ice cream I've ever had. Freal.

Okay so, story time (even though everyone reading this has likely already heard said story).
I won't go into all the details because this is the internet. But anyway, I had plans to hang out with this guy that I met on Facebook.. yeah I know. It happens okay. He was visiting his grandma in St. George (he lives in Orem) for Thanksgiving break with all his family. I honestly wasn't too worried about whether or not I hung out with him because I had no preconceptions about what he was going to be like. We'd texted back and forth a bunch but for some reason I didn't really care a ton. So anyway, he called me when I finished ice cream with my mom and told me where he was staying so I could pick him up from his motel.

So I pull into the parking lot and there he is, leaning against the wall. For some reason I thought he was going to be a short, average-looking guy but before me was an attractive man standing at 6'3" (I asked later how tall he was). He got in my car, smelling amazing, and had the best smile ever.
We went to my house and met my roommates Katlyn and Carissa there, and also Monks, Nate, and Ty. We all chatted a bit until it was time to go to Nate's house to hot tub. Only, I can't hot tub still, so Shad and I just sat by Nate's fire pit with my guitar. Yeah I know, I play guitar with eeevery boy, whatever, but I swear every time it gets more awesome or something.

So even after everyone else left, we just sat there in Nate's backyard, by the fire, talking. About everything. And then we went on a drive around town just talking and sometimes not saying anything but listening to music. It was bliss.

And I think I'm in love but shhh don't tell because I think I actually mean it this time. Okay well I'm not in love cause obviously I just met the guy and have only spent four hours with him but all I'm trying to say is this is the first time in a long time that I have genuinely felt something for someone, especially so quick. Like wow he was perfect. The end.

Today I woke up in Kelsey's house! We got ready and went to the high school for more games and stuff. I made a new friend.. kind of... with this guy that Kelsey went to high school with. It was fun. I left around 1:00 pm so I could get back to St. George with enough time to visit my family for a second, unload my car into my house, and then get to work.

And this time I didn't get lost.

I've always thought it would be super cool to have my bed above a room somehow. But you have to do a pull-up to get to this one? What about when you're dead tired.. or if you can't do a pull-up...

This morning I left for Kanab! Kelsey, my best friend, is from there and she was in town for Thanksgiving. I hadn't seen her in a couple months or so, so I was way excited to spend time with her. I got to Kanab a little after noon.

We spent the day going to and from the high school, watching boys play alumni basketball tournaments. Kelsey's husband Tyler and her brother-in-law Nate were playing in the games, that's why we were there. We went to a few stores and I got a really cool leather book with home made looking paper pages in it. I love it. I'm going to use it for my lyric writing. I got one for Kelsey's birthday, too, which is Christmas day!
We went to The Junction and got some fries and shakes and stuff inbetween the games too.

So, in the evening, I finally met up with Markus. He was playing a couple games too and one of his had just ended so we were all talking and wanted to do something fun. No one wanted to do anything outside though because it was windy and freezing. So Kelsey, Tyler, and I went to Mark's house with some of his siblings and we played this card game called "Bang!" that Mark brought home from his Poland mission.

Then Mark and I took Kelsey and Tyler home so they could watch a movie with her little brothers. Mark and I drove up to this place that he wanted to go earlier. It's kind of a little look-off area with stone tables and little one-person stone benches. So we both squeezed onto the same one, got out my guitar, and took turns playing songs in the cold. It was a pretty, moonlight night though, and we made up songs about Sasquatch and stuff. It was perfect.

We drove over to these caves and parked my car so we could walk to them, but by the time we'd walked along the road to where we were across from them, we decided it was way too cold and I have a boot on my foot still so we went back to my car. We hung out a little longer and it was a good night.

I didn't take any pictures with Markus. Oops. Well, here's the lovely couple!

Last night after work, I met Dillon at my house and introduced him to my roommates. We went and got me some Taco Bell, then came back and started building a fort in our living room. We had Ty and Nate over too, but Ty left soon after because he didn't want to stay and watch a movie. Lame. Melinda and Carissa didn't stay in the fort long, so it was just Katlyn, Nate, Dillon, and I in it watching Arthur. It was fun :)

So this morning, my family started stuff early. I came over at 8:00 a.m. and spent time with them getting food ready and playing games and stuff. We had fun and had a delicious meal. Then it was nap time, which for me meant babysitting Parker while watching Vampire Diaries. Then my family left for Cedar City and I left for work, yay! My poor dad is at home alone though because his knee won't allow him to travel right now. I'm sure he's enjoying the quiet.

I just love Austin so much.

So today when I took a shower it actually was almost normal. My foot is looking better and stuff, although it's been hurting a little more. I had another appointment with the doctor today and I only have to wear this boot for 9 more days, then I'll be in a shoe thing for two weeks. Then I'll get my next surgery right after that, so I'll never be free!

Other than that I just hung out with my family and now I'm at work.

Dillon, my friend from Provo, is in Vegas for the break, so he's going to drive up and hang out with me tonight.

They took off those little bandages today too.

I can't remember what I did Monday night. Uhhh.

Anyway.
I missed my first class this morning... oops. But I made it to the other two! And inbetween theory and choir, Celeste brought me a happy meal from McDonald's. It's been probably 10 years since I've had one of those.

I spent a lot of the day at my parent's house just visiting with my dad and stuff. I don't remember what else.

At 7:00 I met my friends at Stelen's (St. Helen's restaurant) for dinner. They go every Tuesday and I finally went with them. It's a sweet place with good food and not many people at night. They have a pool table and stuff. It was fun. My friends Austin, Taylor, Devon, and Bryn were there as well as some girls I didn't know but they were nice.


Uhh I only did my hair like that for 5 seconds.

I started getting ready for dinner first thing in the morning so I wouldn't have to be rushing when I got home from church. Then Carissa and I went to our ward council meeting together. We left church after Sunday school so I could start cooking. I made Smokehouse maple chicken, garlic cheese biscuits, and roasted ranch potatoes. We had our hometeachers over to eat, Harley Anderson and Tyson Tanner. I also invited me new friend Eric Reed, who brought his family's recipe for flan for dessert. It was a yummy meal!

Eric and I hung out and played guitar for a while. Then we all met at ward prayer. After ward prayer, Ty and everyone always want to do something. So we went to Dixie Rock. Yeah, with my boot and everything. My friends practically carried me to the top, it was awesome.

After that, Eric and I went back to my house and had a good conversation before he left.
